Since Amity and Luz are together she pretty much has two three mother in laws. Jeez, imagine if they weren't chill. Those family get-togethers would be horrid.

Something the series mentions is that time can help to heal wounds, but you do need to put in the effort to change too. Willow absolutely hated Amity for her pre-series bullying and breaking their friendship, and didn't fully forgive Amity until near the end of the series.
