Terrible
Unfortunately, we're back.
Questionable Content
ahhh, it's like being back in your favorite dive bar during the grand reopen after the health code violations got them shut down
you can smell the shoeshine that's polishing the asbestos
needs Faye's fat Fayes in my mouth
AHN SEXO
SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEXO
Something I enjoyed more at face value than this plodding dreck was a 4 volume manga named Velvet Kiss. It's basically porn, and there's a mandatory sex scene every chapter, but it has an actual plot that never goes away and wraps in a melancholy way at the end. The deuteragonist is a rich girl who is unfulfilled by hanging out with her hedonistic friends (who are mostly shitty people) and having orgies every day, so when the protagonist salaryman gets dragooned into being her fucktoy (long story) and isn't really down for the shenanigans (just as planned), he ends up helping her break away from her meaningless existence and Do Something with her life. I recommend it, it was a better way to spend 2-3 hours than a lot of movies I've watched.
Boy Anh can really pack it away.
she's well-practiced at taco munching
a couple of swordfights and missed publication dates away
Very awkward attempt at fitting all that in, doesn't work
A terrible edit to get us back on track
better than the actual comic by a long shot
So I'm like a bisexual with low standards.
Most of them are.
Also, nice callback to the megazord joke.
Has the artist ever tried any kind of dynamic pose or motion?
I hate this character and I'm going to keep hating her after her hamfisted redemption arc. What an uninteresting caricature of shallowness.
He has! It's hilarious when he does
Faye is a cunt but I can't stay mad at those teetas.
The social circle that Ahn is describing is LEAGUES better than what the original friend group has become, where they all just sort of tolerate each other like particularly distant acquaintances.
That's what's real fuckin' bleak, Faye
Every so often Gepfth will experiment with stuff like that, it's usually a pretty good indication he's having fun with the current story line.
It fairly quickly goes back the normal style though. Which I don't really blame him for. A consistent five comics a week is impressive even if they are terrible
bless you drawfriend
AWOOOOOOGA
I'd respect Jeph enormously if he just embraced his kinks and did a weight gain arc with one of the girls. 2 or 3 times in early comics he'd do fetishy panels where Faye talks about her belly and grabs it under her shirt. Try it again now that you've gotten marginally better at drawing, Jeph
Feeder fetish is definitely not on my bingo card, but I guess some of y'all are into this so whatever. Personally hoping this isn't sticking around long.
Corporate needs you to find the difference between these pictures.
Ah yes, I see, Anh having both tacos and burritos is a subtle reference to how she is bisexual. Very clever, Hack
where's the FUCKING slime girl
Jeph admits women are shitty at being friends. Mighty chuddy of him.
she is in my belly
He had. He even tried to create another comic, Alice Grove, but if failed miserably.
This is supposed to be a climax
man I read alot of horrible comics but man Alice Grove was truly a fucking stinker but I will admit he really does know how to make a semi-likable character.
I wasn't too into Alice Grove, but I wish he hadn't stopped trying.
Careful, she could telefrag you at any moment if she gets excited.
I like when he tries. Alice Grove was a real swing for the fences, and it's a shame it didn't connect the way it could have.
Geopf if you see this I liked alice grove, don't stop trying weird things
I doubt he'll go through with it. He released those two pinups of Willow and Claire mom and drew a soft fat gut on both of them, then never did another. Probably just needed his meds adjusted
oh god
1st and 2nd panel strike me as being slapstick. I think it's because his face is well-lit so it looks more comedic than sinister. Also the pose similarity pushes it more towards comedy, like "I'm a genius...Oh no!"
I don't know the context, but assuming the background lines of panel 1 indicate he's charging forward, wouldn't it be hard for someone to stab his neck perpendicular to the direction he's moving, while coming up behind him?
I think it's supposed to be a blur of motion behind him, showing the woman coming up to stab him
failed by what measure? people liked it and it sold decently.
Ah, that helps.
