Poor moderation killed most boards, reducing them to shambling husks where bait threads are made like clockwork. The handful of boards that are barely moderated at all, like Anon Babble somehow end up being the most active and organized, entirely by the users... and it's full of of furry porn and some of the worst fucking degenerates that make Anon Babble look well-adjusted.

Is it so hard to think they just took the idea as a joke about how you make Anon Babble more efficient?

That's a fair point, they should have put lines through or asterisks through all the down boards or even funnier if it redirected you to a open board after showing the sign.

I mean, at least it was a bit more digestible, plus the justification of "saving on reduntant characters" was fun. But doing it so late in the game when many were fed up with everything was lame. Almost wonder if it was an afterthought when seeing anons didn't like the boards closing.
