superman with curt swan and you got batman neal adams what about frank?
Whats the most iconic punisher skull logo?
I don’t read comics, but in the culture this is the most iconic. Recognized it right away.
So is Marvel still trying to disown Frank/The Punisher?
Google Punisher logo and get back to me.
Third row, first and third. It's either one of those two.
Nice collection of afro picks bro. Pretty sick.
ok then, now tell me which one looks like Brook from One Piece the most
I fucking love all the Punisher skulls. Except the Netflix one, it sucks ass.
For whatever reason the Thomas Jane film is the logo they still use to this day on merch.
All those skulls on the cop cars and yeti bottles are from that movie
all I know is I liked the inventor jetpack Punisher from the Spider-Man cartoon
Yes. Reminder that Marvel is owned by Disney now and Punisher is borderline an edgy mass shooter like the guy from Hatred complete with the black coat and all.
Also a bunch of police/military decided they thought the Punisher logo looked cool so after adopting it into their equipment/uniforms Marvel feels icky about the Punisher logo in this post #BLM world and thinks it's some sign of fascism.
Following up on this I'd like to point out that Marvel tried turning Frank Castle into some sort of ninja and replaced his iconic skull logo with this piece of shit logo he has in pic-related.
Dunno about most iconic, but aesthetically my favorites of these would be War Zone or Matt Horak. Just the right amount of stylization without being so clean it feels like they were designed in an office like the MAX or Dirty Laundry ones for example.
For whatever reason the Thomas Jane film is the logo they still use to this day on merch.
For whatever reason
Normalfags watch movies, they don't read comics.
anyway those who dont really comic this is what im talking about curt swan logo
neal adams batman
2099 is cute!
I'm expecting him to return in the comics this year.
spbp, this is the logo that was on the merch around the War on Terror and this became most iconic in crossover appeal with military and cops
I like when the Skull is a spray paint stencil. Brings a DIY to the costume.
bradstreet
Romita Jr
It's a really cool logo
It's literally the best one. Dirty Laundry had the 2nd best one
I'm so conflicted with how Zeck draws probably the best Punisher, imo, but his skull was TERRIBLE. Like it feels he's trying to align it to the shape of his pecs, but it ends up looking like a weird alien thing.
It looks like he isn't even aware it's meant to be a skull at all. How the fuck are those meant to be cheek bones?
*dont really read comic
it seems punisher max logo inspired by cancelled punisher 2 (Dolph Lundgren) poster or maybe tim bradstreet and marvel supervise the movie themselves to make it comic accurate
no parlov
Gtfo
The 2004 logo with the gun incorporated into the design is the one the police stole, so that one
2004 but with a blue lives matter flag
punisher 2004 or Dirty Laundry
I like one Chris Kyle wear while killing dirty arabs
spbp
That's the first post, newfag.
The OP post doesn't count/ the OP is "post zero".
Mathematical!
I don't play Rivals but I do like his Punisher 2099 skin design. It looks metal af.
i dont get it
2004
Face looks like Kubert's Enemy Ace, Zeck is good.
2004 is the most popular one overall, but the one by Tim Bardstreet is my favorite
The Netflix one is just a messier version of the '04 one.
Same. It looks great when the white paint is kind of drippy. Like he didn't even wait for that shit to dry, just put his copyright on a bullet proof vest and got to work.
acab
Also a bunch of police/military decided they thought the Punisher logo looked cool so after adopting
Funnily, this is touched on in the new Daredevil show.
So 2004
A respectable opinion, especially when it's stenciled on armor rather than looking like a shirt/bodysuit. But the skulls where the teeth are mag pouches like JRJR designs just tickle my brain the right way.
paul azaceta looks like a cute lil sad octopus waving
For me it’s always going to be the 2004 skull. I also have soft spot for Mike zeck because of circle of blood, my dad had a paperback of that when I was growing up. Lastly the warzone one was dope just muted in the movie.
TLDR
2004
Warzone
Mike zeck
the one featured in the arcade game
Also a bunch of police/military decided they thought the Punisher logo looked cool so after adopting it into their equipment/uniforms
Just like real life then....
This works more when he’s on some official Shield mission and is working with black widow or something. Because it makes sense they’d provide him with a costume like that, aesthetic and functional
But when he’s doing his punisher stuff normally, Frank shouldn’t really be having top tier costumes that are professionally made. Just the body armor he paints the skull logo on with a stencil makes sense in most of his casual punishing adventures
why does the tim bradstreet one look like a fucking mushroom?
I mean it’s hard not to feel icky about punisher when a bunch of turbo fag jocks plaster it on their gear. Yeah in the 80s it’s expected to root and cheer for Punisher in comics because he is no different than any typical 80s action movie hero. Now though you got spergs that just think he looks neat without reading Garth Ennis stuff that understood he is a fucking psycho that you really shouldn’t root for, but he crafts these over the top gallows humor stories that make it hard not to.
