Early cut with more humor and episodic structure tested worse. New cut with less humor and more conventional structure tested better.

Around 20 minutes of deleted content, most of it jokes and extraneous scenes that hurt that pacing.

Everyone knows it's gonna be a shit movie, it's basically just used as leverage to take out two movies anons hope fail.
This happens alot on this godforsaken shithole, back in the day people were applauding Expendables taking out Scott Pilgrim because oldfags considered SP hipster garbage. We all knew expendables 1 was gonna be schlock because of the PG-13 initial rating that only got raised to R in edits, and it basically being a glorified DTV movie. But it was important Scott Pilgrim fail at the box office.
