Post good post apocalyptic Anon Babble picsomewhatrel not perfect and kinda dumb but i liked it.
ITT: Post Apocalypti/co/
The Transporter definitely has a bit of an unorthodox story that keeps it interesting. Kind of ho-hum in other ways, but a good idea goes a long way. Most post-apocalyptic comics I remember reading are webcomics, though. Derelict is pretty good, but sadly unfinished. I'm guessing it's because the genre basically already peaked twice, first with Cold War era post-nuke stories, and then with zombie stories. And people have been tired of zombies for a while, now. You'd think the whole climate change deal would lead to a bunch of good flooding/weather post-apoc, but I've yet to see them.
Those only exist in games, it's a shame, post apocalypse is a coold genre that could be "more" than retarded Fallout politics
Scout is the best series is comics.
It's Herman without an author, so it's kinda shit, but I liked the episode where a black nationalist tried to use his cyborg cheetahs to trigger a war between a recently opened bunker commune and an established commune of white nationalists.
I enjoyed Arkadi somewhat.
Here's one where humanity created anthros to steward Earth while their plan to re-emerge was cooking.
Here's one where they became the Cat Girls themselves.
Then there's a shit of New Ice Age series, such as Neige, La compagnie des glaces and the one about the train that got a movie and a series.
On the crack pipe side, we got Niourk and The Waters of DeadMoon.
In the Water World-side, there's Finkel, which I personally like a lot.
Interesting
There's Gipsy, if you care more about action than images of the world having gone to ruins.
I scanlated some of it years ago, and it should be available in a number of continental european languages.
The Cronache del tempo medio are pretty okay if you want more "conventional", gritty survivor stuff with some 80s hollywood scifi elements.
There also were a buncha zombie virus comics that have been released the last decade, IIRC, but I haven't kept track of those.
I keep forgetting to add images, sorry.
Bonelli published Bendon, which seems like a their own take on Vampire Hunter D.
The Spaniards definitely have their own style in this genre.
Finally, a number of series set around failed interstellar colonization attempts popped up during the 90s.
Just read this on your rec, pretty fun read. I enjoyed it.
Kamandi, The Last Boy On Earth
Mighty Samson
The Atomic Knights (Strange Adventures version)
Doomsday +1
Storm started out as postapoc, but went Planetary Romance real fast and ended with Robot Stalin trying to kill Lee Harvey Oswald in order to create a future for robotic Communism.
It's kinda weird that there's never been a fallout comic, or even a book, or anything beyond the games except one show.
archive.org
(have you tried googling that?)
I scanlated some of it years ago
Is it storytimed?
Spaniards comics really like their boobs and softcore porn as far as i can tell
There was one New Vegas one. It was actually grear
Is it storytimed?
Like years ago, yes.
In any case, it seems I only ever did book one.
The Atomic Knights (Strange Adventures version)
They don't get enough respect, I think. It's absolutely a series that makes full use of the medium.
I actually did Google "fallout comic" and no, this did not show up. I had a feeling that when I posted my statement that at least one comic would be brought up. Still though, there's very little.
The Dickwolves guys made a short comic as well.
Was that really official? I always thought the Penny Arcade puppet comic was a fan comic
Was apparently posted on the official site.
temps futur
More like temps fur. Anyway, thanks for the recommendations. Wouldn't have come across these otherwise.
nice name
I recently bought the Dark Horse Omnibus Vol. 1, does Hermann colored it himself?
If there is no postapo media with antichrist then this thread is Atheistic Copium
I'm under the impression that they rarely split the work further than writer and artist, so the colouring should all be by Hermann's hand.
Well there's John Doe, where the Riders of the Apocalypse declare that they're going to destroy the world again, but John kinda-sorta barely keeps the lid on it from what I can tell. Partially by giving the D to Death.
I can't recall if the world ever ended in College Roomies from Hell. That one had a lot of Satan impregnating college girls in order to get his spawn ready for action and biblically accurate Armageddons seem to be an US specialty these days.
There was one from Humanoids by Mathieu Lauffray that I remember having antichrist elements, it was called Prophet in the French version, but I think the English was called something different.
