Unlike Chakra, Haki, and some other setting based forms of spiritual energy, if we are to take Legends at face value then literally all of Force Users' opponents would be immune or greatly resistant to the majority of their kit, since they would be outside of the Force.
The reason we can do this is because we do have an example in setting of a race that are outside of the Force with the Yuuzhan Vong.

Did this ever get lore or is it just don't what-if? I assume it's strong but below Arc GL.

It mostly just seems like it is because they are from outside the galaxy of the general Star Wars events. Granted later works would introduce other extragalactic peoples without any mention of special force interactions.

No, of course not. Even if it is a bit repetitive and the story is overdrawn, it still delivers the main thing its audience wants. Some people are citing concurrent players on Steam to signify that it is underperforming, but the console market is still massive.

Grim.

I can't wait for Sunday just you can all see how FUCKED Simon is.

Space Battles used to have soul, then it got overrun by pedantic joyless trannies like Something Awful did

Nappa? Cared about his race
Bejita? A narcissistic cuck who thought he could take on Lord Freeza with just immortality alone

It was because Jedi got too strong and needed a Kryptonite to keep stakes high. There's no non-retarded watsonian explanation for it

I hope that if Simon vs Kyle does well they get the courage to do mecha battles (I know full well they won’t, because normies don’t care about any mecha anime that isn’t Eva, TTGL or Geass). At the very least Mazinger vs Getter

The main reason Freeza wiped out the saiyans was because of their disloyalty and ambitions. As Vegeta stated his father, King Vegeta, would have undeniably led a bloody and cruel empire to conquer the universe were it not for Freeza's family shutting it down and Bardock himself acknowledges his people's lack of loyalty to him. Hell, Freeza's first meeting with the saiyans involved having several mid-class saiyans pointing guns at him from towers and King Vegeta displaying anger at him. All that combined with the mythos of the Super Saiyan lingering at the back of his mind.

If the Saiyans just bent the knee and didn't display such disobedience towards him then he probably would have never harmed them in the first place. Hell, Freeza has actively offered to let Goku give up and become his new right hand man and in RoF he offered to let Vegeta back into his army if he killed Goku for him.

So in the end that is why the saiyans were exterminated. Their foolish, useless, pride. Now the only species that benefits from their stupidity are the Earthlings who, going off DBO, will eventually all have Saiyan ancestry and be elevated to one of the strongest races in the universe within a few centuries.

Define for me "transcending dimensions" without resorting to pataphysics or semitic desert fantasies.

Paul should wear this and cuck Spiderman in every dimension.

No. Anon Babblefags are just pushing their usual narrative here. See

Okay, but would Freeza actually be cool with having Goku work with him? Especially post Namek? Would probably be awkward. Lmak

Twin Headed Thunder Dragon and Meteor B Dragon gonna carry Yugi to the win

Given Freeza tolerates the eccentricities of the Ginyu Force I'd say so yeah, as long as he actually does a good job. If Goku keeps growing stronger then Freeza may start considering killing him but given Goku is the one who inspires him to train in RoF a Goku who joined him might inspire him sooner. Which would cause such a massive gap that he would never become a realistic issue.

Kyle has nothing that could reliably get rid of Simon's spiral power for good except god math, which he is mostly ass with

I'd guess in DB terms it'd mean it ignores cosmology arguments.

TTGL and STTGL are above dimensions, meaning it's way above any kind of dimensional DC swank

I dont think the Ginyu Force ever cut Freeza in half and left him for dead on an exploding planet. I know Freeza would trust him just imagine how awkward it would be whenever it was brought up? Lmao

god math wouldn't do it either based on that one story

What Kingtos does in his sleep

I wonder if GT Goku could have beaten Golden Freeza in hell during the super 17 arc.

the LE just isn't a surefire win

Well there is an inuniverse explanation in The New Jedi Order: The Unifying Force. Their people had been separated from the Force through means seemingly undivulged beyond hypothesis that their violent nature precluded them.
So while I thought that it might just mean any non-Galactic inhabitants would be Forceless, it would seem that instead they are a special case where they have had the Force removed.
Still, it does give more cause to somewhat limit verse equalization when it comes to Versus scenarios, since the state of Forcelessness is one that exists in universe.
An excerpt just so I am not talking out of my ass:
Luke took Harrar by the shoulders, as if to shake him, but only eased him to his feet. “A power—call it the gods if you have to—may have separated you from the original symbiosis . Your people experienced intolerable pain, and pain has been the only way back to that symbiosis.” Harrar nearly collapsed in Luke’s grip. “Separated from the symbiosis. From our primordial homeworld …” Luke dropped his hands to his sides and turned in astonishment to Jabitha, as if waiting for Sekot to confirm what he was thinking. “I now understand,” Sekot said finally. “This one—his people—has been stripped of the Force.”

cosmology arguments

So they just "hit all of existence uniformly" then
and by "above dimensions" you just mean they scale through series of cosmological complexity.
what if the cosmology is Lovecraft, kek.

TTGL and STTGL are above dimensions

As far as I am aware those settings don't even utilize time travel or time travel scaling which is like the first hurdle for actually being "above dimensions" not like I am making a case for 2DC.
Can he conquer the BEAR dimension chudbeit?

Hyourinjutsu's scenarios are interesting even if I don't always agree with how they play out. The animations keep getting better and better though.

He doesn’t need to get rid of it, he can just align with the energy and rise in power alongside Simon. Or he can tap into Rage and infect Spiral Energy like Atrocitus did to the Spectre, or he can tap into Greed and just absorb the energy.

IMG_3631.png - 760x1172, 1.09M

Pretty sure Goku jobs hard here. Base Freeza could match Base Goku post god ki. Base GT Goku is powerful but he isn't on that level. Pretty much from there Freeza just stomps Goku because his forms can't fill the gap Golden Freeza would create.

Spiral Energy includes rage. It's all emotions including those beyond the seven DC ones. Kyle trying to rage tap Simon or doing any emotion shenanigans would just backfire on him

Spiral Power is powered by all emotions. including Rage

And horny.

This is categorically untrue because he loses all spiral power whenever sad or remembering Kamina fucking Yoko

And that’s just more emotional energy for Kyle to feed on, especially since Greed allows Orange Lantern users to go well beyond their usual energy levels (about 7000x over at least). But my point is that Rage allows him to make SE more beneficial for him, especially since RL’s get stronger the angrier someone is.

Kyle canonically sucks with those and doing any of that doesn't refuel his ring anyway. Simon can similarly sap him in turn only better. Plus at the end of the day Kyle's power has a limit. Simon's doesn't.

Counterpoint: ROW ROW FIGHT DA POWA

This fight happens far, FAR before Spectre and Butcher, the embodiment of Rage, fight and the latter kicks the formers ass. And then Atrocitus tames the fucker, so either way Rage scaling up to the Spectre works.
Kyle canonically is perfectly trained in all of the emotions to the point where he surpassed the original creators of almost all of them.

Yes. 30k players on steam is a disaster.

Then those original creators must be pretty shit because Kyle trying to use fear gets no sold by everyone outside of nameless fodder

I hate to pull out the Buu measuring stick, but effectively yes. The gap between Buu and effortless Beerus and Goku's observation that fusion wouldn't be enough would imply that SSJG Goku is probably around SSJ4.
SSJB Goku was weaker than Golden Frieza, so he had to outlast Frieza's stamina instead. In the animation, it is actually True Golden Frieza, with the stamina issues addressed.

Goku also absorbs the God form into base form. So Goku's base is equal to GT Goku's SSJ4. That GT Goku had to fight Golden Freeza without a stamina issue and regenerating soul body from the barrier between hell and earth being broken. He's fuuucked.

Honestly Kyle doing any emotional manipulation would be a bad move. It'd only serve to make Simon more powerful and Kyle has been shown to be susceptible to his own emotional fuckery which would throw him off.

before Spectre and Butcher, the embodiment of Rage, fight and the latter kicks the formers ass

What the fuck are you talking about? Can DCjeets go ten seconds without trying to scam others?
Even if what you said was true, how does the rage entity beating the Spectre when the Spectre already shrugged off something that Kyle has never even done manifest into a win condition for Kyle?

plV2B58.jpg - 1280x1983, 1.01M

How does this help Kyle fight a dude the size of a universe?

I have no idea. We've gone from

Kyle will do this thing he's never done before

this will work because this unrelated guy did this thing to this other guy who got out of it in 2 panels

but if you scale to this other guy in this other story then somehow the first guy is actually scaled above so then uhhhhh something

I think I've heard better arguments for how Homelander beats Omni Man

Post the rest of the fight buddy. Spectre needed Atrocitus’s help to contain the Butcher because he couldn’t handle it on his own. My point is that Kyle’s emotional manipulation and power can scale up to the Spec no matter how you slice it.

IMG_3632.jpg - 1030x1600, 573.16K

This is Daima 4 Goku to be fair, presumably with God Absorbed given the framing. Incredibly hard to gauge other than being much much stronger than Buu. Probably still weaker than SSJB, but with potentially better stamina control.

Like how in the hell is he supposed to make a construct large enough to fight him? He would also have to make the Dame thing and I know it can take a while to make larger objects. God knows how long it would take to make something several universes large. Simon could probably read all of Green Lantern in there time it would take Kyle to finish.

Man, I hate how inconsistent DC lore is. In one story the Light Entities are required for reality to continue functioning properly, in another they will sacrifice themselves to put emotional energy back into the main universe, and in yet another the Spectre wants to cut one of them down even though he should be aware of how the universe works.

my point is that Kyle's emotional manipulation works on someone who has 0 feats against emotional manipulation

this is because I scaled him to this unrelated guy who did the thing vs. this guy with 0 emotional resistance feats who got out of it in 2 panels

but it's actually legit because this guy was physically overpowered (he wasn't and I'm making up context) by this other guy in the past

Lmao Kylebros THIS is all you have left?

You think Chichi ever gets freaky and makes Goku fuck her in the furry form? She probably appreciates the stamina control. Lmao I'm sorry.

Kyle is well versed in emotional manipulation and control

Kyle was trained by and surpassed the likes of Atrocitus, who at one point managed to infect the Spectre and contain beings the latter was unable to best

Kyle’s emotional manipulation and power scale up to the Spectre’s level based on these, which help close the gap in strength and allow Kyle to perform tricks that can help him win, even if they only last temporarily

Also I don’t know how you’re calling either Spec or Atty unrelated to Kyle.
Size doesn’t matter (heh). People are hyperfocusing on how big of a construct Kyle can make when it becomes irrelevant if he can blast away the Gurren even if he’s the comparable size of an atom to it.

I'm honestly starting to think this entire fucking fight is just retarded and it should have been something else. I'm a Simon bro btw. Who the hell even cares about Kyle? He's so niche. They should have had Simon fight Knull or some other high tier characters who could actually fight max power GL.

As far as I am aware those settings don't even utilize time travel or time travel scaling which is like the first hurdle for actually being "above dimensions"

3 transformations below the TTGL, Simon and Viral were already punching enemies outside of time and space.

I'm honestly starting to think this entire fucking fight is just retarded and it should have been something else.

Yeah welcome to Death Battle, dipshit.

Kyle is so niche, but KNULL? Yeah everyone knows that dude

Come on now. You should’ve said Galactus at least.

It's basically just Kratos vs Asura 2 at this point. Except even the arguments I saw as to why Kratos could destroy 10^60 omniverses were at least more cogent than whatever the fuck this is.
All you can hope for is the fight/music doesn't suck dick this time.

Fuck off shit sniffer. They just did a stop fight with Doomguy and Chief. This shit is just getting ridiculous. Who even decides these matchups? Probably some tranny trash.

Doom Guy Vs Chief is over ten years old as a matchup bro bro.

Can we just ban Death Battle from the board already? Its never used for anything other than shitposting fodder. No one is ever happy with the outcomes, the fights are always complete horseshit because they rely on completely imaginary scaling logic, and the only people who pretend to like it are just in it for new ritualposts to spam threads with.
Deathbattle actively makes Anon Babble worse.

Just ban Kyle and DCjeets and most of the problems will be fixed

This

Just ban Simon and Tranime and most of the problems will be fixed

People latch onto that one time plank length extension thing and think he can make his regular constructs a nonillion times bigger because of it. Just ignore the fact that thing was done in a situation where reality and physics were fucked, how he never did anything remotely like that again, and how going from a plank length to a centimeter is a lot different from going from human sized to universe sized.

This

No one cares about endless capeshit vs capeshit character you faggot.

Alright anon, which one of your favorite characters lost?

he says this

in the Comics and Cartoons board

Sorry that comics mindbreak you

Should have had Simon fight another giant robot like Getter Emperor, but people asshurt by Ben vs Hal hijacked him to satisfy their desire to see a "top tier" DC character die. And then they picked the potentialman paper tiger of the Earth lanterns no one actually likes, and now we're waiting for this waste of time to come out.

It was that and that Will of the Drill track becoming popular

I think the idea is DC willpower guy vs Anime willpower guy and if Kyle has the white lantern, then he must be the strongest

but people asshurt by Ben vs Hal hijacked him to satisfy their desire to see a "top tier" DC character die. And then they picked the potentialman paper tiger of the Earth lanterns no one actually likes, and now we're waiting for this waste of time to come out.

And Kyle is still going to win because they love DC too much.

This fight is just "The cold indifference of corporate comic slop Vs The Indomitable Soul of the artistic human mind"

I am talking about people that vs battles. Some capeshit vs capeshit is fun here and there but it also gets boring. I don't want endless battle shounen vs battle shounen either.

Its not about a specific character. Its about the mentality as a whole. I don't give a shit about Simon or Kyle, this problem is beyond them. It doesn't matter what character is being used to shitpost this time, I'm sick of the shitposting overall.

If you don't care for a MU then just skip the god damn episode.

Planck Length: 1.616x10^-35 m

Centimeter: 1x10^-2 m

33 orders of magnitude

Average Human Height: 1.7 m

Diameter of the Observable Universe: 8.8x10^26 m

25 orders of magnitude

Eh, if he can pull it off again he could probably actually make a construct of comparable size. There's a lot of nuance there as you noted, but they're not incomparable.

ESL

Range ban these browns. Problem solved.

Kek. But my thoughts are that Goku never actually mastered the process of attaining it consistently.

The Noita warlock vs Isaac would be cool but really it comes down to one thing.
How crazy of a combo Isaac can have with items vs How crazy of a wand the Warlock can have with the spell components and stats.

Good fucking god you're stupid. Its like arguing with a goldfish who can't remember how a sentence began and can only respond to the second half of it.

Both loadouts are also rng, so really letting people pick and choose what they consider to be the 'best' combo undermines the logic of both games.

punching enemies outside of time and space.

Before I make an effort to divulge into science and philosophy babble, I always try and preface this with asking just what exactly you (or the author) think this means.

Kyle doesn't even have a motif to pull from, what is therewolf going to do?

Rougelike MC battle royale
Minä (Noita) Vs Isaac (the binding of isaac) Vs Cadence (Crypt of the Necrodancer) Vs The Gunslinger (Enter the Gungeon) Vs The Lamb (Cult of the Lamb) Vs The Beheaded (Dead Cells) Vs Zagreus (Hades) Vs The Watcher (Slay the Spire) Vs Whoever you think is the strongest Darkest Dungeon character
Everyone with all positive perks and items from their respective games
The battle ends with the universe crashing into a blue screen

Probably some generic superhero sounding thing or something like Emerald Heroes if they have Kyle win

Death Battle is just a front for fan base flame wars, to shipost cuck memes, and call the other side brown. One side will be happy with the outcome if they win so they can lord it over the other fanbase, and the losing side will always be pissed because they didn't want a fun fight, they just wanted more fuel to shitpost the other side with rather than get flamed on.
Nobody cares about fighting or analysis. If they did they'd all collectively prostrate in submission to Lovecraft and Baxter.

This is also why they’re all so intimidated by Kingtos, the only true BOUNDLESS character

I realize that, but on a pure order of magnitude level going from Planck Length to cm is comparable or even more impressive than going from normal human to universe size. That's all I wanted to pointed out.

Its shown pretty unambiguously onscreen in this case. Arc Gurren punches an enemy and sends it flying end over end in outer space until it appears to hit an invisible wall in midair, space cracks like glass behind it, and then the enemy breaks through the cracks into a glowing whirling void of energy and vanishes. We are told that the enemy has been punched outside of the limits of time and space.

It seems pretty clear to me that the enemy has been pushed outside of the universe itself, since whether its the past of the future someplace else in the universe would still be inside of time and space. The description of the attack instead implies a place where time and space do not exist, removing it from the dimensions that make up the universe entirely.

I have a clip of it, but its sadly too big to upload.
static.wikia.nocookie.net/gurennlagann/images/0/0d/Arcpunch.gif/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/500?cb=20131208045852

Post your hand

Presumably they'd only work in a Marvel universe. Though the thing has infinite wishes and a rewriting pencil so that probably fixable.

It is worth mentioning that the Planck to Centimeter thing only happened in a bizarre set of circumstances where the laws of physics had been totally broken down by an entity called the Aberration.
The scene is really weird because they apparently get flung into the future, but they reach the present by increasing the size of a Planck Length because somehow that allows them control over reality even though increasing the size of a Planck Length would be controlling reality.
And what's more is that the plan shouldn't have even worked because they were explicitly shunted into a future where the laws of physics had been completely broken down, so whatever cause and effect relationship that Kyle and Anarky used to control reality shouldn't have worked since it relied on that standard reality assumption.
Anyways, issue number is Anarky Vol 2 Issue 3.

I've

ESL brown identified.

Extra spatial dimensions are still inside of space by definition.
Parallel universes are still inside of space/time by observable fact.

We are told that the enemy has been punched outside of those, surpassing those in scope.

I understand what you're saying, but not everyone here has the greater context for the situation and the sheer incoherence of the action as it happened.

Fair enough.

Case and point, it's actually more effective to "win" a death battle thread by proving the opponent MC is a giant KEK rather than yours is more powerful VSbattle wise, because at it's core, death battle is a dick measuring contest. Nobody honestly cares, in fact the only reason anyone cares about powerscaling is that a more powerful character could probably cuck the opponent more easily in a cross over.

Think about it logically. BVLLscaling is very real.

Leper with 100% deathblow resist clears

Sorry, but context doesn't exist in death battle. If your character used a single-time wish granting miracle artifact to do an impressive feat that they never could do on their own, DB assumes that the character can do that on command as many times as they want under their own power. Thats just how DB feats logic operates, context and setup doesn't exist.

d space shattering like a vase because the author can't actually visualize 4-5d

Purely a stylistic choice. Imiashi as a director is known for intentionally using simplistic, crude visuals for a gag. This is the game guy who had his animators do extra work that cost more money to make a character act and behave like a paper cutout. Him having space break like glass is entirely in keeping with his style, because the gag is always more important than a physics textbook.

This is ultimately what I got at with the DBS picture, it all comes down to statement fagging with SHITasy. The author says they do these things, but they never actually put a convincing feat to it, because the author himself doesn't know what any of that shit means.

I 100% agree with you on the DBS thing, in that we are told something with no evidence whatsoever. There is nothing in the fight in DBS that indicates anything more than two dudes punching is happening beyond this single line of spoken commentary. If you removed the commentary, there would be no evidence of anything unusual at all and people wouldn't expect there to be any.
I would argue that this is not the case with TTGL's space time punch, because we actually DO see it happen. Even without the commentary, its obvious that the enemy has been punched someplace else in a way that broke the normal laws of physics. The only question is where. The commentary in this case answers that question, rather than inventing new details from thin air in a way not reflected in the actual actions of the fight.

Because anon really, really wants him to be able to.

As Korean he loses to any Japanese or Chinese character and becomes their bitch

Sung Jinwoo, duh

Kinda. See the creators in DVD commentary said that the galaxies were meant to be interpreted as universes despite looking like galaxies. This is for the TTGL/Granzeboma fight, mind you, not the STTGL/Super Granzeboma one.

This scene was amazing when I saw it on TV, but it was a little hard to understand on TV, it was too fast, and it was bouncing around. What does that mean? That's the wrong galaxy. That's bad. Imaichi-san said that this galaxy is wrong, but he said it's funny so it's okay, so it's like throwing a galaxy with a wrong interpretation. I see, I see. In other words, this galaxy is a universe that can fly, bounce, and be thrown, so if you think of it as a universe that can fly, bounce, and be thrown, it's fine. I see. But when Nakajima was in the Universe scenario and asked "What is that galactic shuriken?" he said that it would be fine if he just threw it, and now he's throwing it because it's about time to start. There's been a lot of weird stuff going on since way back. It's weird, isn't it? It's a weird perception. It's not wrong, so it's okay, okay, okay. I thought it would be rolled up, but it's funny that it's just the way it is. I guess it must have become hard after spinning at such high speed.

youtube.com/watch?v=AD36XZOgjq4

For the STTGL fight we have a Japanese Wikipedia page that says basically the same thing as DVD commentary but for STTGL, weirdly enough it's supposed to come from Work Soul (the databook). There is no primary source as far as I can tell, no reason to believe Work Soul says this since no scans exist for the over a decade decade this myth has been around.

A galaxy-like celestial body is placed as a comparison, but according to the "Work Soul", this itself is a representation of a single universe. According to Kazuki Nakashima, the scriptwriter, the surrounding celestial bodies are the universes, and the Super Tengen Toppa is much bigger than the universe. In the discussion video, it is estimated to be about 150 billion light years.

Yes and no. There are certain words that don't translate well from japanese to english because they are contextual in nature and have multiple meanings.

You may notice that translations of anime and manga frequently say that they will cure a disease with a vaccine, despite the fact that doesn't make any sense. Its like that. The word for galaxy and the word for universe in Japanese are the same word, they just expect you to know the difference from context.

impressive how not a single roguelike was mentioned in this post

This is biologically true.
Why are men strong? Not to hunt prey, to protect their mate from other men. That's why lazy male lions are stronger than female lionesses who do all the hunting. Sexual dimorphism is only observed in animals that compete for mates.

If your guy lets other men cuck him without fighting back, he factually is weak in the most fundamental way that matters. No calcs will save you from some douchebag pushing you around and fucking your girl.

Deathbattle is unironically too stupid to understand Touhou powerlevels and would have her job because they don't know how to fit her into their retarded framework.
They would almost certainly never even recognize the difference between spellcard battles and real fights.

Sexual dimorphism is only observed in animals that compete for mates.

Thats not even remotely true.

You will never be a real galaxy.

Pretty sure she wins every matchup even with spell card restriction

But angler fish display extreme sexual dimorphism without any competing for mates happening

so it's not a translation error and they're meant to be universes, but the way it's interpreted visually is reminiscent of galaxies

I WANT TOUHOU I WANT TOUHOU I WANT TOUHOU

Heh, actually they’re too DUMB to understand the subtle intricacies of Touhou…that being said…

I WANT TOUHOU I WANT TOUHOU I WANT TOUHOU

angler fish are an exception because of their bizarre and unique mating
Among most animals it’s a rule. Is why male/female chimps are identical but not gorillas for example, because chimps all fuck everyone and have no competition for mates

momoyo2.jpg - 850x1070, 111.91K

It's a rule where the male is larger
males have no investment in childbirth so they only have to be bigger than the girl if there's competition
if the girl is larger that usually means there's no male competition and they got other things to worry about (like the girl eating the boy)

LEAVEEEEEEEEE

That "weakness" is highly exagerated.
He can still seal beings that threaten all of the marvel cosmology from within 616.
He just has to keep himself in 616 to use em.

And even them, in MCU what if, their infinity gems can be used in any timeline or universe.

Sup bro! Lemme just beat up Luthor real quick and we can have a chat.

Fine, but after you're done with him... Ill beat you up

Which version of WoL do you mean? The OG, XIV MC or Elidibussy from XIV?

OG obviously, dissidia is canon

Jobs and gets KEKD by Russians

Jobs to Indians

So fuarking weak.

Does No Name have any superpowers or is he a skilled normal dude going up against Dead Eye

It's just Anon Babble coping because they hate doom for some reason.

My hero scales to others with planetary feats.

Sometimes you want something even though you know it will never be as you wish it to be.

He solos SHARTruto btw

Just a few issues later he gets knocked into an ice wall and is out cold

Pathetic.

Let me handle Raoh.

IYU7v7.gif - 480x270, 3.2M

Every confirmed MU is a one sided stomp. When are we getting something that's actually debatable?

Then you should be more than fine with Kaisen Vs Fleetway Sonic (:

this was him talking about teleportation btw

I mean that's nice but not "literally perceives bullets in slow motion and can mow down an entire army regiment in less than a second"

Kratosbro...

So uh, how many women are there in this hobby? And I do mean women, not "women"

Can't even beat Hulk

I said you could just use the wises or writing pen to get rid of the weakness anyway.

Oh I wasn't that anon. I think you could do a more interesting story with Fleetway vs Bruce Banner. Not in a Death Battle framework but just as a story in general.

Oh my God, it's been forever since I've seen Superman vs WoL rp in these threads.

I know a few from college that very casually told me they thought the animation was cool.

But as in, only in fights like... Mitsuru vs Weiss.

There are plenty of women vtubers/YouTubers who watch Death Battle. I’ve seen like three.

Listroon is back with his absolute horseshit of a matchup that is Superman vs Warrior of Light

everyone that doesnt like superman is listroon apparently

I have never seen the Spectre win a fight

Gilgamesh vs Yukari could be fun

Maybe. Raoh isn't some guy with Hulk stats. He's street tier, anyone has a fair shot against him

so when they do Lucina vs Grovyle will they give Lucina warriors and heroes stuff to make the fight more fair?

Could spin hit something that's nonexistent? I think that's the general thing with high tier HnK characters.
Also he does split the sky when he dies, you bet if they did a DB they'd throw that in there to scale the series even if they don't pull out Gaidens.

Fuck that matchup man
its just future trunks ffs

Lucina should fight at least someone remotely thematic, even if its fucking Ciri.

Fair

Pretty sure that turns the fight from “even” to “utter stomp” since Grovyle can’t scale to the stuff that happens in like SMD and beyond.

I only played the first Mystery Dungeon. Is Grovyle a time traveler too?

That just makes the stats equal since Tusk and Johnny scale to the Spine creating a storm over and beyond Kansas.

That particular Grovyle yes

Ah okay, makes sense. Sounded like a random MU when passing by the thumbnail for that death battlecast

They're just going to scale Grovyle to Dialga and call him universal/multiversal

XdG2T5X.mp4 - 960x720, 3.82M

I haven't begun Steel Ball Run, so I can't add anything to that discussion. But the sky was split and clouds were torn open several times in FotNS and I don't think any one of those cases was through freaking shockwaves. It's more spiritual than that. I do agree that modern Death Battle would most likely give these characters casual Chicxulub level stats, though. It's what they do

Man I should really play PMD again.

Then that's pretty good, assuming you're just relying on main HnK. But Musou Tensei is just very broken, in Souten no Ken it activates while Kasumi is unconscious to escape death, the guy hasn't even mastered it like Ken and Raoh did.

desu thats primal dialga whose weaker but again fuck that matchup

What is even the source of this match up? Like who is asking for it?

He can. The Grovyle you recruit in that game is canonically the very same as the one from Explorers. So he could by way of chainscaling scale above Arceus since he's comparable to the SMD protagonists > Dark Matter > Arceus
Does it make sense? No, but this is Death Battle

those settings don't even utilize time travel

gl.jpg - 1280x720, 235.86K

There is only one matchup for Touhou...

who the fuck is this

LITERALLY
W
H
O
I would just go something basic and workable, like Reimu vs Dante.

what was that faggots name.... it is someone from the research team and i think was on XVX...

Ugh, i swear it was on the pokken clip but i dont remember the episode.

I mean, it was popular enough to get a DBcast
Will never be made because the premise is too confusing for people who think it's just a normal Grovyle, but still

Ugh.

solo leveling

its just future trunks lol
it could have been literally anyone who time travels to save the future.

I believe it is Belos, aka the guy that hates witches and lesbians and especially straight witches

Emperor Belos from Owl house. Trash show, but based as antagonist.
youtube.com/watch?v=z2DlW237RjU
He's an earth-human who travels to a magical parallel dimension, takes it over and tries to destroy it - and almost succeeds. Would fit well against a magical sideways parallel dimension inhabited by magical creatures.

When are we getting a Jesus-lookalike DB?

the only thing I can recall for hard numbers on Kenshiro is that he can block small caliber bullets, sprint at 40 km/h, punch 50 times in 3 seconds, split a 5 meter wide rock with one strike and kick 200kg 25 meters into the air. from "Fist of the North Star Special: All About the Man". these stats probably aren't far from Raoh's

I thought the Grovyle from PMD died at the end?

isnt death battle filled with libs and democrats

shuts down your magic powers

Aquarian.jpg - 275x511, 44.04K

Does Belos win or something? The only match I've seen for him is Gabriel Agreste/Hawkmoth

What does that have to do with Jesus.

Arceus keeps him alive into the new timeline that's created at the end of the game
He shows up in the sequel because Super included cameos for basically every single character that had previously appeared for some reason

Does Belos win or something?

No, he loses to the power of friendship

theyre faggots, abortionists and atheists why do you think theyd have jesus

He doesn't have any actually. Just pressure points.

I would avoid completely trusting the databook, it's pretty much a hype piece but the series isn't written with powerscaling in mind in the first place but more so to display what's cool.
Ken's own feats in the manga already far outpace that by the end, his fight against Hyoh shows him catching 11000 simultaneous blows from his brother. Kenshiro Kasumi, the Successor before Ryuken, also appears to be casually bullet timing and HnK Kenshiro is explicitly the strongest user of Hokuto Shinken period.

UvDY5Mn.jpg - 815x1200, 323.71K

Belos would probably get bodied by Daiyousei or the 3 Fairies of Light, nevermind more thematic opponents like Miko or Byakuren

NetGAWDS and BEASTlona solos composite roguelite, at their early game.

Does Belos win or something?

Depends who he is fighting. If he decides to go loud with magical powers he has, he will propably get whacked and fortune-telled.
But if he takes his time, and uses his abilities as top tier SCHEMER to learn how magic works in Gensokyo, he could take on Reimu and big shots like Yukari and Okina.

I think in a ballot banter they've talked about how Father from FMA would be a good matchup to do with him

kek

Thematically, he's great for the fight.
Powerscale wise, he is completely outclassed to the point that its not a fight at all.
You have to remember that 95% of the fights we see in Touhou are essentially regulated pissing contests with rules on what is and is not allowed, because Touhou girls have canonically destroyed their universe at least twice just because the wrong people got into a slapfight.

And even the fake battles look like this: youtube.com/watch?v=430ejbSn-5k

The three fairies are arguably the only group I can think of that has "power of friendship" only it is also combined with immortality and the power of retardation.
Funnily enough they also have the most manga dedicated to themselves, I think the only people who might have more time dedicated to them specifically are Reimu and Marisa.

Sakuya is cool, but she's realistically just a time-stopper with a bunch of knives. Thats easy to explain, but thats hardly a unique power of one with a lot of depth as far as Touhou matchups are concerned.

How are you so strong?

Because we're dumb as shit!

I... what?

Could they reasonably fight the Powerpuff Girls?

Maybe once the new anime comes out.
They've compared at least one character to Jesus before (Cable) and called Jesus a Jojo in Giorno vs Joker. If anything, selling Toki as Kung-fu Jesus would probably get them more invested in using him. I think the bigger issue is finding someone relevant for Toki to fight.

Ukyo Tachibana (Samurai Shodown)

Gouken

Hit (what the fuck?)

If you're bringing up what I think you're bringing up, the number is 1109. And I disagree with that interpretation. Acknowledging the presence of rule of cool works against the wanky interpretations of the feat because you're not going to tell me Hyoh spontaneously grew 500 pairs of arms or moved at infinite speed. I think they most likely would have been rapid jeet kune do kinds of strikes rather than full extension jab, right cross, hook, hook, uppercut, uppercut strikes. And I don't think it would've happened in a nanosecond.

casually bullet timing

Most "bullet timers" in fiction aren't actually running or punching faster than bullets

only 10 to 11 dimensions

Simonfags, our response?

Thats like saying that a line of dialog stating that the guy you are looking for is in Ohio indicates that only Ohio exists and there are no other states in the USA, or indeed other nations in the world.

That dialog tells us that there are *at least* 12 dimensions. Not that that is the max total.

That's the thing though, Kuroyaksha is mid-air when that attack happens, it'd had to have happened in a fairly short timeframe at the very least and to fulfill his attack it'd also need to be done before his body is fully destroyed by the onslaught of attacks. Either way, it's a very fast move, at least faster than what the databook proposes. Probably fast, but not "that" fast like you say.

Most "bullet timers" in fiction aren't actually running or punching faster than bullets

That's true, but they move really far by the time the bullets hit them. This is the next page, and the page after that they're outside the god damn building and it takes place in pretty much the time it took for a guy to close his eyes in fear and open them again.

SPhFxS7.jpg - 815x1200, 362.69K

only 12 dimensions

Superman DNA

Kryptonite

If not for the uno reverse, this thing would be RIPE for hacking. Just force a superman transformation then kill at your leisure.

b-but the gauntlet+kryptonite would dissappear when they transformed

Then why have the omnitrix at all? its a straight nerf. Of course whatever alien would still have the guantlet, think idiot.

Pretending dimensions matter is just an admission that your only hope of victory is an appeal to cosmology rather than an inherent powers or skills of the character who is supposed to be fighting.

all Uno Reverse would do is switch the playing order from clockwise to anti-clockwise, it's worthless in a 1v1

Does the fact that people want MU without cuckshit make you that angry

The bullet feat is very good but the bizarre part of it is that the old fat guy was able to react to the bullets as well and carry on a whole conversation with Kasumi before they reached them. I don't want to say slow bullets (and there's actually another example of Kasumi dodging a bullet after it's fired) but it could be like in Promised Neverland where a character is unintentionally written as way too fast because the author doesn't really understand how fast bullets are

p-please ignore-

Your concession been accepted.

Yep, Kyle won.

...a beating.

please, we should ignore all feats and onscreen evidence and base the outcome of the fight purely on the number of colors in the color pallet used to depict the scene, not the contents of the scene

This is the level of nonsense you are asking for.

Those are WW2 bullets in a WW2 setting, I don't think there's much room for debate on their speed aside from pulling the rule of cool card again honestly. There's a lot of times where shit should not be possible while something fast is happening, like people talking while moving faster than sound. That shit happens in every other piece of fiction with fast people.

it could be like in Promised Neverland where a character is unintentionally written as way too fast because the author doesn't really understand how fast bullets are

This is a general trend in HnK in general, Kenshiro is basically showing off what the author thinks would make him or his villain look imposing.

You DO know that the entire reason for why either character wins will purely come down do cosmology and hax, right? You DO understand that this is Death Battle we're talking about, right? When has fighting experience and skill ever actually mattered in a fight for the past few years on that show?

angry

Huh? I was just making a joke that Touhou posters bellyache about getting an MU or that DB would get stuff wrong, and always hate on the one with Sonic for whatever reason. Where did you get cuckposting from, what does any MU have to do with cuckposting not explicitly done by the schizos here.

The problem is that the onslaught never landed, and we had no flash-forward vision of what it would've looked like. Furthermore, he was using Anryu Tenha in the prior page. I do think there was some super-speed involved, or else it would've played out very awkwardly. But definitely nothing crazy like punching in one millisecond. At the same time, the real-life world record for most punches thrown in one second would be about 20-ish, times three that makes 60-ish compared to Kenshiro's 50, and I doubt Kenshiro is slower in one second than any man who ever lived in our world. So yeah, I wouldn't want to gimp Kenshiro that way.

Kenshiro Kasumi, the Successor before Ryuken, also appears to be casually bullet timing

I checked out Fist of the Blue Sky and you're right, but they said a technique called "Keiko" let him move out of the bullets' way in time. I do have an issue with the cinematic timing, like, whoever that fat midget is, he would've needed supersonic reactions to see the bullets coming and react to them in despair, but if he was that fast then he wouldn't have needed to be saved. But whatever, I'm nitpicking. It's worth mentioning that he WAS hit by a bullet. Buuut he was carrying two people, so maybe it evens out

When has fighting experience and skill ever actually mattered in a fight for the past few years on that show?

Literally any time where strength and stats alone couldn’t decide an outcome so it came down to how characters used their abilities and how they’d work around using them on their opponent. Raven was entirely outmuscled and she won specifically because she had experience against opponents like Jean, Bowser won because he could actually use his minions properly, Silver won because he had experience with energy based enemies and messing with their attacks, Johnathan won because he had experience against opponents like Tanjiro, and so on.

That match fucking sucks and Kirbonic Pikmin should kill himself

There's a lot of times where shit should not be possible while something fast is happening, like people talking while moving faster than sound. That shit happens in every other piece of fiction with fast people.

Not really what happens in the scene though. The old guy is literally just reacting to the bullets. I can buy 'talking is a free action' and they shouldn't be able to have a conversation that fast, but in something like Flash comics while Flash is able to do obvious bullshit you're not going to see Iris West casually reacting to supersonic bullets or light beams.
Still though as said, he does show he's a bullet timer elsewhere so it's probably legit

It’ll be the first (official) Touhou fight on the show and you will LIKE it.

Literally the last time they discussed 'muh cosmology' on the show the person with the bigger cosmology lost
Kyle's hax is dogshit btw

You have to have an extremely high tomboy level to be into this stuff. I mean like "does mma" level tomboy.

The difference is DC's cosmology is greater than Marvel or Spawn's.

52 finite universes < 1 infinite universe

52 finite universes that the most complex universes in fictional history >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Marvel cosmology > Spawn cosmology > DBZ cosmology >>>>> real life cosmology >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 1 infinite universe that was actually just hypnotic dreams and noncanon shit

The only thing that DC's cosmology does is continuously reinforce that all of its characters are actually weak and are incapable of accomplishing anything of note. There are a handful of cosmological pillars that the entire multiverse cannot survive without like Superman and Darkseid, and they are static so they are incapable of growth. They are just as incapable of success as they are of failure, they can only ever remain in place. And everyone that isn't a pillar of the multiverse doesn't matter even a little bit.

The problem is that the onslaught never landed, and we had no flash-forward vision of what it would've looked like. Furthermore, he was using Anryu Tenha in the prior page.

Fair. But explain THIS

Sorry, meant to reverse the arrows here, my bad

The average human hand is 375 cubic centimeters. Times one quntillion that's 375000 cubic kilometers... I think. Everest is 100 cubic kilometers, so unless that attack has 3750 times the volume of Mount Everest then it's not legit!!!!!!

Outerversal lag

Am i crazy in thinking that Link vs Cloud 2 is one of the worst episodes?
It is usually never talked about like that, but i think they did such a disfavor on the potential.

Link is in his BOTW outfit despite composite Link being mostly only depicted iin the classic outfit

Link combines stuff that cannot be combined at all in the games

Link acts like a moron for a jokey meme scene instead of a honorable 1v1 duel between heroes

Link has the triforce in his eye for some fucking reason, and all of it combined despite the analysis not giving him the full triforce

Composite Link being just continental made this a stomp, even when majora has a fucking sun within the moon, zant made a night sky, vati also has night sky making feats and the lore implies universal full triforce.

Cloud was just kinda...eh and his analysis was mostly just an apology for Tifa vs Yang.

Just give me Rachel vs Remila or Youmu vs Danny Phantom or whatever and spare me that cringe

even when majora has a fucking sun within the moon, zant made a night sky, vati also has night sky

Crazy how he struggles to push around big stone cubes in all of those games

Is there anything more false and homosexual than video game villains creating starry dimensions?

Yeah, retards who don’t think that creation feats are good.

i read the chapter on mangadex and he said tento kogai sho, but where did quintillion come from? the wiki doesn't say either

I thought it was weird. Not necessarily bad, but it feels like a weird growing pains type episode. Between the more narrative focused episodes and the more simple two dudes fight episodes. Also it felt a little spiteful towards Link in how it characterized him in the animation as a psycho.

Good thing I'm not a retard then

I don’t think it was meant to be spiteful depiction, moreso just kinda memey.

So is TOAA no longer the above all? Who is the Divine Creator?

I want the match to be out already, I'm dying for Simonsissy tears when their fraud is finally exposed.

Simon is so powerful he's causing IRL Indians to die from seething so hard

Holy FUARK....

he struggles to-ACK

Link? Lifts rocks easy.

I didn't know Majora, Vaati and Zant showed up in the Oracle games

Composite Link

uh, um, something zelda timeline something.

What will the cope be when simple simon dies?

How well could Yujiro replicate Hokuto Shinken?

Same as a lot of DB episodes: DB is shit and wrong because "scales to" logic remains a retarded metric to judge fights by.
But we'll spend the next 10 years with the same handful of sub-70 IQ posters spamming what barely qualify as memes about it any chance they get. Same way that people still shitpost about the Ben 10 fight, and people in this thread still gurgle and chortle as they brush the cheeto dust from their hands to make another Kratos post.

link scales to star busting characters in these specific games

in those same games he struggles to push around small blocks

w-well have you considered these other games where those star busting characters don't exist?

Zeldafags, I...

Are you denying that they used composite Link in the episode

if so then name the version used

This posts just screams “I’m not owned”.

Are you having issues with first grade English literacy

Let's have our hero who needed to be saved from two galaxies being slammed together fight a guy that uses the life force of a much larger setting

Simonfags have no room to complain. You come at the king you best not miss.

Still waiting on that galaxy feat for Kyle

Your tears and bitching will make a fine tribute for the superior cape chads.

Gaara vs Toph: Got the result wrong and the western character won

Yang vs Tifa: Got the result wrong and the western character won

Omni-Man vs Bardock: Got the result wrong and the western character won

Kratos vs Asura: Got the result wrong and the western character won

Hmm...

but Simon is the one with the cape though. Kyle doesn't wear one

Omni-Man Vs Bardock

Wrong

Post Bardock destroying a planet, or a country. Fuck it, I’ll be generous. Post Bardock destroying a CITY.

Who's winning this?

Amiba was able to replicate it based on sight but even that blew up his hands. Musou Tensei can't be replicated just like that though and it makes all other hokuto shinken tech irrelevant

Assuming you go with wank from all eps probably Jack.

are you? i asked an easy question

Could Jack beat Roronoa Zoro

They jewed over Carnage against some anime bitch.

Not in a million years.

Well there is holding back the Imperiax Prime explosion and that was several galaxies worth. People say it was a big bang but that actually happens a few issues later when Braniac tries to hikack the Imperiax power but Sundipped Superman knocks him into a portal just before the big bang.

Sam fucks Jack up. His vibrating blade would smack Jack's sword right out of his hands and Jack isn't nearly fast enough to keep up with Sam for a long time.

Jack has a number of LS feats and arguments. Durability wouldn’t really mean anything in this fight but he’s absolutely more than fast enough to keep up with, if not outright outspeed, Sam.

Got Kyle vs Simon instead of kino like this

You just know a troon picked these awful fights this season.

How? He doesn't seem all that impressive.
If anything he's a schemer and we know how well their track record goes in death battles.

How is simon kyle troony

Because I don’t like it. Not obsessed btw.

several galaxies worth

I think it's incalculable. Imperiex did absorb several galaxies by then, but the leak was small.

This but unironically

Who's winning this?

Does Imperiex really have the power of big bang?

dc.fandom.com/wiki/Imperiex-Prime_(New_Earth)

He had detected imperfections in the fabric of the universe, and his ultimate plan was to destroy it and create a new, perfect one. To do so, Imperiex Prime headed for Earth, the planet which held the universe together, in order to destroy it and therefore induce a new Big Bang.

It sounds like to me that destroying the Earth is what would've cause a Big Bang, not Imperiex himself. But then again later on, the page reads:

Rapidly realizing that Warworld could not be destroyed without releasing Imperiex and triggering another Big Bang, Superman and the Martian Manhunter formed a brief telepathic link to explain their new plan.

So he does have the power of a big bang? Considering this is just a wiki page, I'm not gonna take it as gospel, but reading it did give me questions to consider.

Because you are a fucking dribbling moron retard let me spell it out for you.

I'll take a character called Speedman. Speedman has many different appearances and incarnations across media, but he always goes really fast.

In Speedman's TV show, someone says he does a feat which someone says is quadrillions of times FTL. I counter and say there's very concrete and in-universe statements that his limit is only the speed of light.

But now in Speedman's comics, he does a feat which the narrative clocks at exactly 10 times the speed of light. Because we're using a composite we'd use that feat, but just because it contradicts TV Speedman's limitations it does not mean he is now quadrillions of times FTL.

Similarly, Link in the games where he fights Zant is clearly not a star buster if he's struggling to push random rocks on the ground. Just because Link can lift rocks in other games easily does not mean he is a star buster.

Do you understand now? Is that simple enough for lil Zeldabro?

Idk, depends on who's writing it i guess. Max wank he'd learn it immediately and be able to perfectly control his emotions while using it. Realistically with other factors its safe to assume he couldn't immediately learn it.

Maybe a byproduct of it destroys earth. DC universes are fragile as if you destroy Earth the whole thing breaks.

I'm more impressed by Samurai Jack. Raiden's a dumb fucking twink and a compulsive underperformer who couldn't even handle Vamp with submarine-stopping cybernetic enhancements, so Sam beating him never impressed me

Imperiex contains the big bang of the previous universe. He's like DC Galactus.

that always struck me as odd. Imperiex Prime absorbed several galaxies over a shitload of time and with a lot of technological help, therefore he can trigger a Big Bang?

AKTUALLY, Imperiex has big banged the universe several times before the current universe. It just kept coming back so he decided to blow up on top of Earth to end the universe forever.

Cope.
Stop dodging the question.
Which Link was used.

Look under "power and abilities" speed reader kun.

Why would that destroy the universe forever?

Because the Earth was the center of COIE.

just a guess, if you wanted to destroy the universe but it kept coming back you'd be doing tests too

Hey man Bardock in Great Ape and 4 other saiyans can destroy a city...
youtube.com/watch?v=89K8Bu69lBk&t=290s
Too be 100% fair this is pre-zenkai non-ssj Barodock

Like the other anon said there's carnage and that fag and there's also 18 vs Carol. Can't have DC lose after all.

Your argument is inherently retarded. If “Speedman” is stated to have performed a feat that’s X fast, it doesn’t matter if there’s something else that says that his limit is only Y fast, because he still performed X feat in canon.

I think anon is trying to say that a character's verbal boasts are less reliable than a narrator.

Can't have DC lose after all.

Harley wishes this were true.

guy carried by Chaos Emeralds vs guy stronger than Chaos Emeralds

The entire Batfamily wishes this were true you mean.

Don't forget he was hollowing planets across time as well as space. If you consumed the same planet at different points in the time stream eventually you'll build up to big bang level.

But Earth is in the universe. Shouldn't destroying the universe once have destroyed Earth as well?
Is that why all the universes in the DC multiverse are called "Earth-...."?

Just eat Oa! It's multiversal in every molecule, or so Lantern fans tell me

whynot.png - 170x234, 42.53K

but wouldn't the planet not exist? If he consumed it at temporal point X+5 and then went back to X to do it again wouldn't that mean there's no planet to absorb at point X+5?

If Speedman did actually move at quadrillions of times the speed of light that'd be one thing, but it's never that. It's always some retarded fancalc cobbling together disparate elements and giving generous and ridiculous assumptions.

Crazy then how Link struggles with pushing blocks in literally every dungeon in all of those games these "star busting" feats and regular Zelda gameplay isn't focused around obliterating suns and the entirety of Zelda would not make sense if Link was capable of punching so hard he could destroy the sun
Maybe Majora and Zant's weird magic spells and vague illusions.....don't actually correlate to how strong or durable they are....what a concept....

Earth wasn't in the previous universe. I know that's confusing because you'd think that would be the pre-crisis universe, but COIE changed the entire multiverse timeline so that you have several universes getting killed by Imperiex before one with Earth popped up.

Universes being called "Earth Blank" is an old convention going all the way back to Flash of Two Worlds. Barry and Jay called their homes Earth One and Earth Two and that became the way to refer to total universes.

Man, its time travel. It's not going to make sense no matter what you do.

scientistbros.... our work made no sense

It can. In DC's case its just bad writing.

the discussion boiled down to planets... AGAIN

I swear at this point multiverses matter less than earths

iirc Majora is the last boss and you're meant to use a mask that turns you into a deity to defeat it. I can grant some benefit of the doubt. You're not supposed to be revisiting early dungeons where you push blocks even if you could.
But really, it could also be hax. Not illusion but but they're wizards with weird haxes that don't always apply to a battle and he still needed 7 days to push the moon(?).

here, there. NIGGER WINDOWS

You know what, I give up. I'll concede that Kyle held back a big bang (hell, DB already gave him that in Ben vs Hal) so I can move on with my life.

The entire plot is also that you have to find four giants to physically stop the moon for you in the first place.
And the argument isn't even "Majora is moon level it's that he has a sun in his weird mind dimension so he's sun level.
Even in the most generous version of his argument that Fierce Deity is the intended way to win, that it just scales above all of Link's supposed antifeats it's just profoundly retarded
