What are your thoughts on Ben's canon wife, Kai Green?

Were you surprised at first, prefer some other girl, they are perfect for each other, etc

Omniverse is a weird series, and I don't mean the artstyle. It doesn't ignore the UAF series, but it feels like more of a follow up to the original series. To the point of having Ben and Julie (UAF) break up, to have Ben and Kai (OG) be canon.

The best girl is Ester, btw.

For me Kai seems like the only girl that can challenge Ben's ego and naturally they banter which makes their chemistry stronger since Ben has yearned for Kai more than any other girl he dated.

I did the honorable thing and stopped watching Ben Ten after the first cartoon. Alien Force is dull boring always night time shit. And I hated the horrible writing like Magic Does Not Exist Its Always Been Aliens. So naturally because Alien Force is shit abandoned Ben Ten as a franchise. Never saw Omniverse so I will take a guess its also shit. Same to the reboot after that. Ben Ten is mostly trash.

And Kai is shit. She never liked Ben only wanted to get fucked by an animal alien. This franchise had the makings of being great but sadly as usual idiots show up to ruin it with trash writing.

I will never understand people getting mad over Ben ending up with Kai when she was literally created to be Ben's wife. Last name is Green, 3 letter name, son is named after both Ben and Kai's name together. Its honestly cute how they're destined together, if only the writers could actually show their relationship develop more but instead they rather do random trash filler.

Yeah figured as much. If a show seems decent and you know watchable at best eventually sequel seasons or series will ruin it. Happened to things like Futurama and it happened to Ben Ten. The original cartoon wasn't grandiose but it was alright overall.

When Omniverse was first revealed even as a kid I was off put by the drastic art change. Im a massive Ben 10 fan but I couldn't finish watching it at first so I missed many episodes and barely know what happened in the show. Half a decade later after forgetting about Ben 10 and randomly remembered it I started rewatching the whole series from Classic to Omniverse for nostalgia and greatly enjoyed it. Getting to Omniverse, it was hard to stomach a bunch of redesigns and some designs I despised a lot such as Big Chill I grew to appreciate it and not hate as much. My overall opinion of Omniverse is its too cartoony which took away the charm of the prior seasons since now there's no balance of goofiness anymore, its all goofy with series moments from time to time. Ultimate Alien is personally my favorite season of Ben 10 due to it being the most mature season Ben 10 will ever be, that tone is the perfect blend for the franchise even with Ben's character being at its worst. Now while I find Omniverse to be goofy, I appreciate what it tried to do by connecting everything together tho the whole Kevin Backstory retcon is the most egregious thing done so while Omniverse has high highs, the lows are the lowest.

If Omniverse wasnt a thing people would assume Julie would be Bens wife since she's his current girlfriend. What happens currently doesnt dictate how relationships work in the future. Ben and Kai arguing is more like banter that ends up with Kai teasing Ben which comes out as flirty.

I didnt know Kai was so hated by most of the Ben 10 fandom till checking it out. People really think Kai only likes Ben because of his aliens and not Ben himself or that Kai is a bitch because of what she said as a kid when Ben is an cheater and awful boyfriend to every girl he dated.

I preferred Julie back in AF.
UA though was weird that it felt that there was two writing teams at war, one trying to keep the relationship with her going and the other writing Ben as a jerk boyfriend trying to break them up.
