What was wrong with the designs? They were cute.

It came at that strange period of time when Cartoon Network was trying to make genuinely "PG to PG-13" tier cartoons work (like OG Young Justice and Generator Rex and the adult-Ben 10 shows, Regular Show, to a limited extent Adventure Time), right before Uncle Grandpa, Gumball, and Teen Titans Go took off
A lot of that era that wasn't AT or RS got totally forgotten (or was shit that wasn't liked even at the time)

More like soulless Ben 10. Also, LTS and Gumball premiered the same day. Why was Gumball a success while LTS was forgotten?

why are looney tunes so domesticated?

I liked it more than Wabbit. But I liked Daffy and Porky in the Wabbit. Show much more.

So frustrating when they don't get them right. I've warmed up to this show's designs ever since multiversus and the new looney tunes cartoons though

It got hate in the very beginning and calling it cartoon Seinfeld was more of an insult at the time.

Why didn't it work? Would it work now? I suspect making short reel length skits from this style would work for the new gen. Hell the scenes were basically skits prime for shorts already.

I would love to see her offended face and even then Lola would still be a much better character than Judy.

It was probably the best way to go about making new Looney Tunes stuff. Looney Tunes show is fine but if I want the classics I’ll just watch them, there is a pretty massive catalog of them

My feeling on 2009-2012 era CN is that between Total Drama Island thru Regular Show and that last dying wave of action shows like Young Justice and Sym-Bionic Titan, that could have been CN's big second wind making cartoons for the demographic that usually doesn't get many cartoons aimed at them that aren't MacFarlane-style slop (12-18 demographic, "shonen" demographic, which Americanadia doesn't actually have because we only have the Toddler, Elementary Schoolkid, and """Adult""" cartoon demographics), especially if you add what Disney XD was doing (Korra and Motorcity and I think it was also the Tron cartoon too).
But then le quirky beanmouth happened and they gave up trying.

LTS's only sin was that it came at the wrong time. I think people weren't ready for some postmodern "Looney Tunes Seinfeld" like they would have been a solid 5-10 years later. It would have been peak Anon Babblebait if it came out 5 years ago.

CN was barely trying to make cartoons at all was the problem. The executives always wanted to focus on spastic kid comedy, but they thought the live-action slop would provide that.

It would have been peak Anon Babblebait if it came out 5 years ago.

If that entire wave of animated shows debuted in 2019-2022, Anon Babble and every "muh kid cartoons are actually secretly mature and adult" video essay tuber would have been screaming that we were in the second Golden Age of Cartoon Network.

It also doesn't hurt that she has bigger tits than Space Jam Lola, if you're into that. Say what you will about the rest of her physical appearance, but that's one aspect that I feel is actually better on this version.

better than new space jam too. Buga should get with her more though cause she seems freaky like she’s into stuff. She doesn’t wear anything with her dress and they made her look hotter and bustier in redesign and she says she has to pee a few times

I liked it when o was little and the humor it seems aimed at 12 up which cartoon network was doing a lot then. They did push the limit sometimes though which was cool
