What the hell happened to the show I remember it started out with so much potential and then just fizzled it was weird. It kept building up and then the reveals were so bad that actually killed the show like his father turned out to be the villain the you have magic powers inside you kind of thing just died like every single idea they had never went anywhere it kept getting thrown away it was so freaking weird the heroes group squad thing like what the hell. The back story of the mother and her group like it was schizophrenic

I like to think that Boxman made her design like that to distract the male heroes of the plaza whenever he tried to destroy it.

I firmly believe Rad would have been a gigachad fucking all the girls had the creator not voiced him. I think he realized the dangers of self-insertion early on and made the character a complete dumbass failure.
It was a parody of anime and cartoons, including the tragic backstories.

The one thing I remember most are the crossovers, special and casual. They garnered a lot of attention.

the crossovers were great. the twist was gonna be strung out over another season or two, but the OK KO crew had a heads up they were being canceled and wrapped up all the plot threads pretty quickly.

amazing show with so much heart. can't say enough good things about it. so many high quality eps.

I'm still impressed by how perfectly they wrapped up all major plot threads in record time. That Radicles/Red Action episode was sooo cathartic. If you'd told me OK K.O. was always intended to end the way it did, I'd believe you, with maybe that one meta line from Boxman giving it away that it was actually cut short
