So I just skimmed through season 2 again, and yeah, the dynamic is all wrong. Season 1 made it clear in at least two episodes that Jimmy doesn't play favorites and he likes Beezy and Heloise equally and hates seeing them fighting over him.
Season 2 Jimmy clearly favors Beezy over Heloise and there's like five separate episodes where he and Beezy can't be friends for some reason or another and he mopes about it, then Heloise just shows up for five minutes to be reminded that she's not as fun as Beezy and Jimmy isn't interested in spending time with her at all.
