It really depends on your taste. Scott Pilgrim (the comic) is first and foremost a coming of age story abouta 20 something growing up and learning not to be such a selfish asshole. The cartoon is that but for his love interest who the comic didn't give a proper arc to (it also kinda retcons Scotts arc but whatever, separate timelines).
The movie is a surface level understanding the comic and is visually neat. Like it's the story if Scott literally learns nothing. Also Michael Cera is a complete miscast. It looks cool and has some good moments though.
