Not much. Look even if Warner dies it simply means that characters like Superman and Batman get NEW OWNERS. Basically Warner and DC will be bought by a rich conglomerate like Apple or Comcast. That's the worst case scenario. It means richer companies will own the characters while they have deeper amounts of money to continue making BAD movies with these characters.

So much hate for Gunn's DC. I wonder why. When he was at Marvel, he was the golden child, everyone loved him, and he was even un-cancelled because of it. All his movies were competent crowd-pleasers, so why should Superman flop? With the exception of Perry, the cast seems comic accurate. Judging from the set photos, the tone of the movie will likely be fun and lighthearted, like in the comics, as opposed to what we got in Snyder's Superman. Yeah, the costume sucks, but maybe it will look good in motion. The cape is gorgeous tho.

it's unlikely anybody would ever make that offer, they'd be more likely to go back to the 1960s arrangement and sell off the movie rights individually - that was why the first good Superman movie got made in the 1970s and why the 1960s Batman show got made, and why WB didn't do anything of their own with those characters until the 1990s
but nobody sells movie rights permanently now, it's always a decade or so option to make a movie with extensions for potential sequels, so WB would be leasing them until the early Superman/Batman comics become PD and the inevitable shitty horror movies come out produced, directed and written by Zack Snyder

imagine this movie is a hit and they bring back Robert Pattinson as Batman, but also geriatric Michael Keaton and diabetic footless Val Kilmer and sour old George Clooney and paycheck O'Christian Bale and fuckin Wil Arnett and poor dead CGI Adam West who already kind of had that breathy, odd voice but now it's so much worse
and they do it because that movie was a hit and they think hey, NOW is the time to get that project that wouldn't run the last time off the ground, NOW is the time we'll finally make it work
