Ready for takeoff, Anon Babble?
Ready for takeoff, Anon Babble?
I read that as jackoff
Ready to wait to watch it on my buddy's Disney account but then kinda just never do
they are all so fucking ugly
Surely you don't mean Android Johnny
I'm ready to watch the Galactus scenes and Doom cameo on YouTube, sure. I'm never going to watch a single FF movie with this dreadful cast.
20 years ago Gruffudd dyed his temples for the role
now, 50 Y/O Fagscal not only doesn't shave his shitty ratsctache, he doesn't even dye the temples
Fuck them all. I hope it crashes and burns.
Do you really think this is a clever enough comment to warrant posting it as many times as you have?
Are you blind or just retarded?
Not convinced by Pascal as Reed, but the other three might be good.
In hindsight, this F4 was kino fun.
Whatever you think of the film, I'm sure none of you guys are riding the 00's duology as some underrated masterpiece, rigth?
...right?
I'm riding the videogame based on the first movie as very underrated.
Does that count?
Ready to JERK OFF
Don't know much about it but I've also heard it's pretty fun
I wonder if there will be more film set in their universe
I don't think so honestly. They play a big role in DD/SW and after that comes the rumored soft-reboot so they'll most likely end up folded into the new universe.
No, it absolutely was not.
Fun, maybe
Good, fuck no
A good FF adaptation, fuck no
Can you not tell the difference, you disingenuous nigger? Gruffud was in his 30s and his temples were much more pronounced. 50 Y/O Fagscal doesn't have them full on as he should. Why do you faggot defend such a shitty casting?
It's not a masterpiece, but I see the characters and I see the Fantastic Four. This? It's just four random guys.
Barring Ben, all characters were either a superficial reading of their comic counterparts or outright completely bastardized. The might LOOK like the characters, but they're poorly realized versions of them.
Even as a civilian, Gruffudd sold well the character. You totally believed he was a nerd superhero when he wasn't wearing the blue uniform. You didn't see the actor, you saw Reed Richards.
Pascal is Pascal. He just doesn't sell it well.
It was during a time when producers were still too afraid to give CBM some seriousness. The casting was perfect, nevertheless. This one is mediocre.
This point I can get. If an FF movie with that same cast came out during the 10's it truly could've been something, it's a shame they had so little to work with. About First Steps, I'll save my judgment till it comes out, just hoping is at the least decent.

Exactly.
Pascal is Pascal. He just doesn't sell it well.
He can't. His face and nose is so beaky and birdlike that it's impossible to morph into anyone else. Him keeping the same shitty ratstache in every single role makes it all the worse. The guy looks like Tony's stupid cousin, not "Reed Richards". He's not a good enough actor to sell it either. The whole thing is fucked.
latino, possibly a fag
37 year old instagram-face jewess with horrible bleached hair
average dude with bleached hair, possibly a fag
jew
Marvel is gonna have a rough summer...
Reminder that we could've had this.
Pascal and most of Hollywood can't move on his role as the Viper. They forget that this was about ten years ago and people age different when entering their 40s. Pascal was still fit back then, while he's now got bloated. I don't blame him as he's still aging well and it's not his fault, but there are roles he's not longer fit for.
He's also never shaving the moustache because that's his "Latino" brand. When he was acting before GoT, he didn't have one and he looked like an ordinary white dude.
Pascal is 50. I remember when people threw a tantrum because Channing Tatum was too old to be Gambit despite he did all of his stunts and is a fan of the character and wanted to do the best possible job with it. He's now gonna be the youngest in the xmen cast as Marsden, Cumming, and Rebecca are in their 50s. If he doesn't look the part, then neither does Pascal despite at least Tatum is in fact a Cajun. Seriously, fuck this movie.
it's also hardly a new development. the thanos arc ended with rdj in his fifties and multiple other major actors also around his age. the characters they were playing are all vaguely younger-looking or actually younger than Reed. this grandpas saving the universe thing has been an issue for the mcu all along, and only cap could really get away with it because he cheated.
Ugly as sin lawdy, at least they are pale
Blame Feige for handing them a shit script.
Very Kubrick yes yes this looks like a shot from Barry Lyndon, yes.
if the MCU released this movie exactly as it came out in 2005 you would all fucking hate it and piss and moan about Latina Sue
You know I’m fucking right.
It's remarkable how every single MCU FF thread has the same half a dozen (or so I hope, it's even sadder if it's all one guy) spamming the exact same posts with the exact same images and wording.
not one of them fits the character they're supposed to play
of course latina sue was and will always be a terrible choice but Jessica Alba is substantially hotter than Vanessa Kirby AND all the other three castings were very, very good.
Reed needs a Russell Johnson-type
only requirement for a female character is a hot actress
Ya'll act like hot shit yet are still gooners
Hon, this ain't about gooning. Liking hot chicks is the default for us guys.
Yeah, which doesn't really impact the quality of the work.
The cast is downright terrible and Sue's actress already said that gender politics will be a important theme in the movie. Certified superhero woke slop, hard pass.
It'll probably be received like last jedi.
Critics will praise it.
Fans will hate it for the changes to the original comic.
Make a billion on the brand name alone.
Spaniard couldn't shave his mustachio for the role?
She said they'd be pulling Sue's characterization from various decades since her 60's portrayal was fairly bland (which is true)
