People definitely won't move on from Adventure Time now that it's been rebooted as fully embracing cussing quirky anime loving female leads and tumblr fanfiction with coffee shop AUs and everyone needing to have gay thoughts about other men and AUs of themselves, but no one wanted Regular Show back, even the people who liked it. There's literally no room for this. Especially the "only some characters return but is a completely new series with new characters" spin. Regular Show was very specifically about its core cast and their life. No one needs anything else out of Regular Show, least of all something that is fated to miss the appeal of the original and likely just be something with more prominent female leads acting crass like Tuca and Bertie or Fionna.
