I have cops in my family. I'm into comics because of my godfather, who was one for 30 years(and yes, he's a Punisher fan. I got him into the Max books) I'm very pro-cop.

Every decent man wants to live a life of peace and quiet, but this world has proven time and again that peace can and will be broken, in macro, with war and strife, or micro, at the whims of the stupid and selfish.

Punisher's ideology is very cut and dry. If you harm innocent people, purposefully or by consequence of your actions, he will kill you. If you don't, you're safe. This is as fair as humanity can get.
