Khan and Minh are separated despite being a strong and like minded couple throughout the show

Dialogue is very stilted and basic

Not really liking it so far

Minh nearly left him multiple times on the show, like when he was looting as a redneck or when he lost his job and ran away. Its not that shocking that they'd have a falling out.

at best it’s going to be like the later seasons which weren’t super great to begin with

at worst it’s going to be Clone High season 2 tier because fans are working on it

I like that Bobby and Connie get back together, iffy on Khan and Minh being separated though hopefully they get back together at some point.

I honestly don't get the autism from Mihn and Kahn's divorce.10 years is a long time and Kahn, and Mihn had more than enough rough patches on the show that it wouldn't be a stretch to imagine them finally hitting a breaking point. Ultimately I don't think a divorce would change either of their characterizations like it would Hank and Peggy or Nancy and Dale.

I really hope Gracie isn't an annoying character. Since they have literally nothing to work off of, they could do anything with her, and I do not have faith honestly. Ideally she'd be a nice stand-in for Luanne, a simple-minded but kind-hearted southern girl, with some fanservice and nice boobs. Worst case scenario... there's too many ways it could go wrong to list.

I could see them getting divorced easily once they no longer had micromanaging Connie's future to act as a lightning rod for all their shitiness.

now he cries over star wars and it IS about bobby and he even gets ideas on how to handle his relationship with bobby from the movie

Can't wait to see Peggys sexual awakening and having an entire arc justifying cucking Hank.

I didn't really think too much on if the available details to piece together what the extent of the timeskip is. If she's just 10 or so she might be a fairly passive character along with GH. Maybe an episode dedicated to her/both of them like the chores one.

Both these scenes are really, probably intentionally, similar. Both movies are from genres Hank normally does not enjoy and both times it's s scene of an old man dying in a younger man's arms that set Hank off. I guess something about watching old dudes dying gets to Hank.

Plus the joke with the original was that connecting with Bobby at the end is what helped Hank get over losing his truck so Peggy wasn't entirely wrong and the episode did end up being about Hank and Bobby's relationship albeit indirectly.

My guess is that she's staying with Hank and Peggy like Luan did at the beginning of the original show, probably in Hank's den like Luan did and they're gonna have Luan and Lucky be tied up somewhere to explain them not being around.

I'm at least expecting something respectful for Luanne and Lucky just because their VAs have passed on. No "they died", or "Luanne stabbed Lucky with a fork like her mamma and is in prison and Lucky left, also jailed, or died from it" negative future crap to affect them. I'm going to be overwhelmingly disappointed if even that type of respect is too much to ask just for the sake of "um, well, it DOES make sense" bullshit like everything else so far. Just do something nice for once.

I like to think that Lucky's band took off and Luan decided to go on tour with him but they leave Gracie with the Hills during the school year so she grows up right with an education like they never did.
