The idea is that we challenge this assumption.
Given the initial premise, this challenge would then uncritically accept the progressive framing that transsexuality is something you can intrinsically 'be' (even without knowing it), rather than a belief you develop about yourself by indoctrination.
This would then lead to further arguments between progressives and conservatives.

I once a year or so briefly imagine being an ugly woman with the same cancerous personality but single with no kids, then it passes about a second later but the idea never fills me with excitement or arousal, possibly because I enjoy being male.
Then again I'm a writer and character designer, so I already have an outlet for imaginary women; not being high on the spectrum or associating likes/dislikes with genders helps.
