Nothing, he was cool. His inclusion seems weird to most because they added him over Neo but eventually they would've added Neo too if the game didn't shut down. Also Keanu Reeves has some say over Neo's depictions for some reason so that probably played a part too.

She was literally filler. The original plan was for Nubia to just be a costume for Wonder Woman but (IIRC) some of characters they were actually planning for were having trouble getting through legal so they reworked her into an actual character to pad out the roster.
I couldn't stand the way they thickly colored every character like holograms. You should be able to tell who's who in an IP mascot game.
