I haven't been keeping up with the storytimes. I just started and caught up a few weeks ago.

I forget, is there really a mole in the Ultimates or was the Nick Fury LMD bluffing as part of his grand plan in the one-shot?

I think the key to winning is fighting him outside of Heaven. Thor, America Chavez or both should be able to bring him down. The Council aside from Hulk, Magik, and Captain Britain are very underwhelming though. Hickman needed to dump one or two more powerhouses on it.

Still wish Magik had been put on Momoko's X-Men book instead

nah I enjoy evil Magik, it feels like her brash impulsiveness will make her the weakest link in the Eurasian regime, unless Arkady cracks first

Anon, the speech bubble here imply that the mole is physically present with Nick Fury. But since they are not visible, the most likely guess is that they are shrinked.

but the mole keeps saying "they" as if this person didn't ever consider themselves part of the Ultimates. WHat are the chances it's somebody like Walker who got Tony's package but decided to turn and spy on them for HAND instead?

It could be Doom too. There is no way the Maker didn't have a plan in case Doom got out.

She did appear in the Year One issue. Where you see her crying in the hospital with Hank recovering from his injury.

Shang-Chi will carry the Ultimates

but I doubt Doom would willingly rat out the Ultimates

The dialogue specifically says that they are "sheltered in the palm of H.A.N.D."
And you can see Fury has hand out palm up.
And then they zoom in on Fury and specifically cut off his hand so you can't see what it's doing
It's clearly a visual pun, and they are going to change perspective and show that he's been talking to someone shrunken and cradled in his hand

Also the mole mentions that half of the Ultimates network was attending the meeting remotely implying that the mole was one of the ones on the screen

Since the other options are Hawkeye and Luke, and Hank got brain damaged by the Maker, it really just leaves Jan

his design is OK.
