It deserves to stay buried. However, CN has shown its obsessed with exploiting 2010s cartoon nostalgia. So SU is next on the list since every other big show it aired next to is coming back. There’s some hints of this as well.
Ian JQ once hinted at SU being on Prime Video before deleting his tweet. I didn’t pay any attention to it back then, but with Gumball being on Hulu, a CN show being released on Prime Video is not that crazy.
Rebecca is also at a panel on Annecy next to other showrunners currently working for CN. Granted, she is working on the AT movie next to Pen Ward and Muto, so it could be just that, but Ian also shared her presence there with a cheeky wink.
