It's weird because he's only ever shown recharging once on panel, and it was when he was flying towards the Source Wall.
In other stories where he gets drained like Omega Men or even the beginning of the Lights Out storyline or the end of the Godhead storyline he just kind of recovers later and nobody conveniently tries to kill him while he's conked out. It doesn't seem like he has a Lantern battery in a spatial rift like the regular Lanterns do but it's not confirmed either way.
Time Eater isn't particularly special among Super level foes. It lost to regular old Super Sonic along with his younger self in super form. It never had any kind of special invulnerability either. It's a jobber.
Doomsday can be put into stasis and Buu's absorption puts the absorbed into a state of suspended animation. At this point it comes down to interpretations, South Supreme Kai and Grand Supreme Kai both got permanently absorbed on an inseperable level.
GSK is able to invoke his own presence on a conscious level after the Galactic Patrol exposed Buu to some aroma and stuff, so hypothetically Doomsday could adapt that and have a mutal control of Buu's body.
Or if you take it another way, Doomsday reconstitutes himself after being fully absorbed and having adapted to Buu's absorption would be able to break free. At the same time, Buu would have still totally absorbed Doomsday, so Buu would have his own abilities on top of Doomsdays. This would effectively be a stalemate but Buu has an early versatility advantage. Eventually it is just Doomsday vs Doomsday but Buu.

I've personally taken the angle that Chaos Emeralds are more or less the kryptonite of entities like Solaris, the Time Eater, and The End.
For Solaris it is more because of the occultic depiction the Chaos Emeralds have in 06 (like being used for the sealing and transferal of spirits) and Mephiles scattering the emeralds after merging with Iblis. I actually think the final boss Solaris is the combination of two entities Eternal Flame Solaris and the entity in the Scepter of Darkness, but that's more headcanon.
Time Eater is fairly self explanatory. We see it hit the free floating Chaos Emerald in White Space, get repelled, and then it starts flailing all about before leaving.
The End is mostly just because the Chaos Emeralds power the different avenues of active containment.

Kyle didnt even make the entire machine. He was filling in broken part of the machine and still taking forever to do it. Kyle can't make a construct large enough to fight GL. If he could it would take way to long to actually make. Kyle would then have to figure out how to fight Simon with the giant construct. He won't be able to actually see the fight and probably can't react as fast as Simon.
I meant in terms of impressiveness the Time Eater appears more threatening from what we see it do. The End just doesn't accomplish much in respect to its abilities and more just recognized as strong in how Super Sonic struggles with it.

because he isn't capable of doing so. He can siphon some emotions for a boost but those are limited to just the seven emotions and that doesn't recharge his reserves. In that scenario its just a tug of war with Simon taking a lot more than Kyle can in an ever escalating power clash only his battery is never getting recharged while Simon's keeps going up. Eventually Kyle's ring is going to give out for one reason or another and when that happens he just dies because he is completely reliant on it.

I still don't understand how Kyle draining Simon would make a difference. In the Galactic Spiral Abyss their Spiral Power was already being converted in mass, effectively draining them. Simon's solution was to just produce more Spiral Power than they can convert but it wasn't successful because the Anti-Spiral fleet followed them to the Abyss and was trying to keep them there. If Kyle were desperately trying to energy drain Simon, Simon would just power up further and faster than what he could drain and go for the kill.
