Newt was intended to followup Toy Story 3 for Pixar's mainline production. Due to production issues and the fact that the concept ended up being too similar to another animated movie Rio, which was already coming out around the same time, it was scrapped and director Gary Rydstrom left Pixar as a result

Not necessarily a cancelled project as it was retooled, but it does count as another thing at one point. Originally, The Wild Thornberrys (then titled as "Animal World") was pitched to Fox and was originally set to be an adult animated sitcom with Nigel Thornberry being the main star of the show.

It was pitched way too early and pre South Park and Family Guy paving the way for mostly uncensored adult comedies. The whole joke was how nature show hosts love to film animals having sex more than just about anything else and Nigel was some perv that filmed talking animals fucking a lot. Not going to fly in 1995, but could have worked in 2005.

A Space Goofs movie was originally in the works by the same studio behind The Magic Roundabout movie, but production was too little too late as by the time the movie was in production, the studio was shut down in 2013

I'd argue that it would've been ahead of its time, but yes, I'd say South Park, Family Guy, American Dad, Futurama, Aqua Teen and even Beavis & Butthead (the latter that aired during the same time) did a better job with the style of crude, brazen humor. Even Klasky Csupo's other adult animated sitcom Duckman did a way better job with talking animals, but who knows what Animal World would've been like

The original EMH spider-man crossover episode he was voiced by Josh Keaton, however disney decided to push for Drake Bell to segway into Ultimate Spider-man, the original episode hasn't been released but remnants exist in the episode itself as they didn't dub over a single line

CH Greenblatt had planned a Star Wars special for Chowder in the same vein as Phineas & Ferb, Family Guy and Robot Chicken, but ultimately was never made once CN cancelled Chowder in favor of CN Real

I wish they would leave these very long dead secondary 40s-60s franchises fucking dead already. Nobody wants to see Yogi Bear, Dudly Doright, or Underdog any more. They don't have an audience and there is no nostalgia to draw from with them.

The only reason for this was because of the live-action 1995 movie as well as the two live-action direct-to-video movies and the 2000s animated show that used to air on CN that gave Casper new life (so to say). But realistically, yes a new Casper movie would not work, and if anything it'll probably be no different from modern movies that revive IPs from the dead. Like what would a Casper movie or TV show be like in the modern age and what would he and the ghostly trio do? Would it just be "Casper be ipad" or some stupid shit like that?

Klasky-Csupo should’ve pitched it to USA, they already had Duckman so it would’ve fit in nicely.

Realistically how many episodes could they have gotten out of that concept?

I even found out the plot of the movie, set during WW2 with a father and son reconnecting as an origin story on how he became the fat conductor in the first place, and the movie would've been loyal to the original books

I think it would've been doomed as a short-lived 13-episode series had it been pitched to Fox. I mean, The Critic got a second life on Fox, but not treated as well, so again, Animal World should've been a USA show, but whatever, they've pitched to Nick as a show for kids and became more successful
