Ties of Thieves will maybe have an elaborated opening to explain all the previous events (since they can't directly reference the stuff CN owns)

The tone of the show will be way more mature than the original series

the art style for the animation is an upgrade from the main show, and they will try that to be the art style from Villainous from now on

the art style will keep improving and being polished, they don't want it to just be a motion comic but something more

If Ties of Thieves does well, it can be dubbed to other languages

Episodes will be around 20 minutes long

There will be a good balance between comedy and action so there's no mood whiplash

The episodes will release depending on how the production develops, how many views they get and how well it does overall (they need LOTS of money for the animation and dubs obviously), there isn't a regular release date so each episode might take a year or more to release

First episode should be coming at the end of this year

They'll need to upload it twice (First in Spanish then English) since they don't have enough subs for multiple audio tracks

Thoughts?

I'm so thankful for the Hispanics for actually drawing pretty characters and not ugly blobs with colored hair.

Which parts does CN own? I can understand losing the references to non-Villainous properties, but losing the main cast would be a tragedy.

Obviously they can't use the Cartoon Network/Warner Brothers/DC/HB characters anymore
Cartoon Network also owns the TV series and the comics since they co-produced those on top of being filled with cameos from characters they own, everything else like the setting and the Villainous' characters are owned by Alan and AI Animation Studios so they can use them as they please, I'm thinking they're talking about doing an abridged version of season 1 plus the comic so this world would make sense without the CN characters, for example the last few books no longer have the Cartoon Network logo on them at all and they don't have any cameos either, in fact they had to edit the Heed book to remove all the references to the WB/CN characters and the unreleased season 2 so it would tie to the upcoming show instead in a way that makes sense (that's why they delayed that book)

So why didn’t Cartoon Network do an English dub of Villainous again? Was it really that Latino of a show that American’s wouldn’t get it?

Villainous did get a dub. Well the few episodes that came out and some of the shorts anyway.

They dubbed the main series (almost 3 years after it came out), but they never dubbed the Orientation videos, no idea if they ever dubbed the unreleased season 2
but now that the show is indie they (the crew at AI Animation Studios) want to dub every episode to English (they did said it would be very hard and are unsure if they would be able to dub them all due to all the money they need)

Has to cut all the CN references

Welp, it's dead in the water now. Those references were about the only thing keeping it relevant.

What are you talking about? The CN stuff was just minor dressing and the OC stuff was better. Honestly Heed and the other waifus alone will bring in the crowd

The coomers alone couldn't save it before, and that was with the CN fanservice.

Uggghghghghhhhhhhh tummmmmmmmyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

So they could do like the ‘Bee and Puppycat’ approach?

Why does the end of her lightsaber look like a sex toy and why do I want her to rub it in her bellybutton

The power of peak mexican engineering

Needs more ass.

G-Lo doesn't make sense to me. Her goggles are lodged inside her jelly-hair, implying she's resilient to damage, but she flinched when Bicep feigned a punch at her, implying she could get hurt by a simple punch. I need more G-Lore.

Is draeing good looking characters really a hispanic thing or is it that drawing ugly blobs with colored hair an american thing

She's probably like Plastic Man or Clayface, can be punched around but is pretty much immortal as long as she can regenerate her body
