Who’s considered to be the best written character in TGAMM? I’d say Libby if I had to give an answer to that question.
Molly is an obsessed schizo. Her obsession is to help the world, which is a good thing, but it doesn't make her any less deranged. One of the best things about the show is how, despite her positivity, she is frequently in the wrong and needs to learn lessons. Its not just a show about a positive character making a grumpy character be less of a grouch, she also learns along the way.
Other than genes as Molly is shown to be somewhat similar to Pete when it comes to intent on helping the world, I wonder when and where the obsession actually began and also why.
