whats the worst/most ridiculous B plot you can think of from a cartoon?
Whats the worst/most ridiculous B plot you can think of from a cartoon?
Why are Geordi's eyes spaced so far apart
who’s the old white guy on the left supposed to be
I dunno, but it's not this one. This one was hilarious.
I believe thats Data
Brent Spiner / Data
I thought Data was the white guy behind Geordie
That's Wesley Crusher.
Why do you think he had trouble seeing.
The tank episode of KOTH where Peggy had her "ice cream measuring" plot. I know the pettiness is the point, but still.
This was better than the actual A plot of the episode
This would've been forgivable if it was revealed that the cast was faking being idiots since they were literally held captive against their will. Maybe a bonus if one of them acknowledged it was a huge gamble, and they're lucky Stewie never just up and killed them instantly out of some internal restraint.
Bart buying a factory, it was just for grimmey to say during its rant
a son that owns a factory
Btw, its not bad just ridiculous and funny, btw isn't bart technically still owner of the land? Weird that they haven't done anything with that considering how much they like to do sequels to past plots in current seasons.
prolly not that one
I doubt he bought the land, just the structure above the land. In the us people don't really own land, banks do. People are just allowed to live and have their business there. If bart owned a land of that size in a industrial area he would be a multimillionaire in the house of tens of millions quite easily.
what immediately comes to my mind is that american dad one where stan and roger are trying to design stripper shoes for men and they turn into airplanes or something idk
later AD has a lot of shit ones
That episode of South Park where the B-plot was just Butters shooting people in the balls over and over again until Cartman says, "You can't stop shooting people in the balls" and walks away, ending the B-plot.
isnt that the A plot
I've heard he's kind of a cunt
Generally speaking you have to pay property taxes on land to hang onto it.
Think the A-plot is the boys seeing Indiana Jones get raped.
90% of TBS American Dad B-plots.
He’s had a lot of weird fan interactions. Can’t say I blame him.
Fun fact: I own my own land (bought it outright from an old man who hated banks).
Pretty much anything with the snobby nerd comic relief guy from James Bond, Jr.
I hate stereotypical high school drama. The early episodes of Rick and Morty made it seem like they were going to make a bunch of stories about Morty's high school life so it was a nice change of pace to see them quickly end up ignoring that setting. Now it's like Morty never even goes to school which I'm fine with because I don't want to see stories about Morty dealing with high school bullies or whatever when he's already fighting entire alien armies with Rick.
Never really had much of a problem with Beth being a horse surgeon but that seems to be a plot point the writers quickly forgot about too.
One really bad Simpsons episode. It might've been the A plot, I can't really remember... both plots were shit.
Bart's class having a race.
Bullies doing a betting pool, Bart favored to win, Milhouse has the lowest odds.
During the race it looks like Milhouse will win, bullies send Nelson to beat him up to rig the results.
Bart sees this happening and sits there for like a minute deciding what to do, still somehow wins the race because every other kid temporarily stops existing to let this happen.
The rest of the episode is waiting for the 'liar revealed' trope to kick in while the town goes progressively more apeshit about Bart winning some stupid kids' race to raise the stakes.
Bart tells the truth, town gets mad and chases him with torches and pitchforks.
Bullies who actually committed the crime and profited from it face zero consequences.
It was the first Simpsons episode I'd watched in several years, and I haven't watched any new ones ever since. The other plot was just some boring shit about Homer and fireworks.
this episode is funny to me but I've skipped it on rewatches before, I know people despise it because of the indiana jones rape scenes
Jesus. I don't even like Star Trek and I knew who they were
I'm just saying, they have all of the *ingredients* to make a McBLT. If you just ask, I'm sure they can make one
Who was in the wrong here?
That's one of my favorite Peggy bits. A really terrible one is when her, Mihn, and Nancy are obsessed with seeing that laundry room
Seth loves Weasel.
Ohhhh, all I could think of was Tom Paris. I was trying to recall another white adult on Enterprise, so Wesley didn't come to mind.
later AD has a lot of shit ones
Where does "American Fung" fit into this thread topic?
chinese billionaire buys American Dad
isn't really an A or B plot, it's more of an overarching, ridiculous element that doesn't even work.
Dorn is wrong. Dudes gonna get some innocent wagie yelled at
Say her name anon. We all know who you're talking about.
To his credit, he seems very mindful of her schizophrenia
i think about milhouse getting rat coffee when i'm at work sometimes
The rumor is this is the original co-creator's way of saying "fuck you" to the Network as he left during the early TBS era.
like 30% of the guest characters on TNG
So you're saying that the people working in a restaurant can't create a simple dish with the ingredients they have on hand because........why, exactly? It's sitting right there, I have money. What's the disconnect?
The one where Meg gets a job at the airport, gets all the guys’ attention, making a fat worker jealous, try to kill her and eventually gets her fired. There’s no resolution, Meg gets no vengeance and the lady gets no karma.
The disconnect is the retarded amount of red tape that comes with running a restaurant, especially a chain. Managers are sticks in the mud about it because their manger's manager's boss will chew them out for doing shit outside of the texts of training manuals and work emails detailing rules. They make an exception here or there too often and the system doesn't work and people get away with free food and employees get confused about what's what and fuck up on the job.
thats not even the worst B plot its just the worst episode of AD ever made
Cleveland Show
