What do we think about Chris Savino's early career

One of those lone pioneers of Basedness. Like Amahara or the Dragonmaid author.
Also more seriously I think this is why the early seasons of Loud House made it popular and the later seasons tanked it. Savino got that people wanted Lincoln being loved and paid attention to by his sisters. There’s a subconscious incest element to it.

Didn't last long

So it was ever confirmed that this was actually him? At what point did he make those? It feels just too elaborated to be a troll

I heard things about Savino basing it on his own feelings for his mom. His early religious awakening also showing.

He never denied it

Why do you think that is?

For half a minute I thought that catholic was a great pun. Then I realized I couldn't remember the original word. And only then I realized that it's not a pun. Which is a shame because I still think it's a great pun. You can tell I only asleep 4 hours last night.

These are genuinely not even that bad and the people who act like he committed a grave crime by making these are fucking stupid.

...What was the pun again?

Chris Savino peaked with Eddie Puss.

Imagine my anger when I found out there were far more than a couple of these strips. Why did no one bother to save them?

Wild guess, but cat-holic?

Rebecca Sugar never did incest. Artists need to do better.

...she did draw porn of underage fictional boys. not that it matters, its all fake.

not that it matters

It does. If one gets in trouble for this, there's no reason for another to get away with it.

What? That’s news to me. How many were there?

Aisha Thani of Warrior-U also liked EE&E yaoi and was into the Osomatsu brothers banging each other, which got her roasted after she tried to chase clout in a more Anon Babble like setting.

Aisha Thani of Warrior-U

No idea who or what that is.

at least two.

Don't know the exact number, but a fair amount.

I wonder how many anons know about his Christian comic strip that he made after the METOO movement? Or that he's been self publishing his Big Foot and Gray on the Run series?

The big foot series was originally supposed to be published through a big book publisher, but after he got METOO'd I guess the plan fell through and published it through Amazon, as well as is currently working on book 2 and another graphic novel series

I blame Butch Hackman

You'll be glad to know from this it seems all of them were archived. He posted all the strips in Feb 2014 then it didn't continue

is it hairy?

Agreed. They're way too tame. Thank god for fanartists willing to push the envelope.

Clean shaven like a proper woman

2014

Really? Not that long ago? Why did I ever think it was the early internet days?

Well Savino started Dexter’s Lab in 2001 and they look like hand drawn newspaper strips, so noone would blame you for that lol
They weren’t his only thing either, he did bunches of small random comics like 5 posts at a time. Eddie Puss was just the only one of them that was super interesting

lame

She's a cat. Figure it out.

No you’re in the right place, those are all the ones he did. You’ll see the archive goes to 2015 and he never made any more

I see some other short comics but for Eddie Puss specifically I only see 7 of them.

Since Chris Savino was a big fan of the Newpaper/Sunday comics has he ever read or heard of Lio ( seen here which is like "if Jhonen Vasquez did a Newspaper/Sunday comic"), Igdoof, Litterbox Comics (which is similar to the thread image), Phoebe and her Unicorn and possibly Lena, which is a webcomic I shortly spammed on the weekly Sunday comics thread on Anon Babble?

...I got bamboozled. Never trust anons again. At least I can sleep at peace knowing I didn't miss anything now.

Aaaand now it's just not loading at all.

Eddie Puss is unironically the funniest thing Savino has made.
Sure puts those grueling as episodes of Dexter and PPG he did where the joke is "the thing takes a long time to happen" to shame.

Familiar style
