I wouldn't call Dan Vs. underrated, sure it overshadowed by literal cartoons for little girls, but it still has a fanbase.
It was enjoyable, and we'd probably never get anything like it again.

How raunchy does Dan Vs. get compared to this show? I've always heard it described as "an adult cartoon that aired on the wrong network"
Its a shame the creator isnt a cartoonist. I think he could do allot more with these 2 if he was actually an artist.

I can't remember it really getting raunchy. Elise can be pretty sexy at times and maybe some female characters are above PG in terms of their design, but honestly Regular Show probably got away with more, at least in their first airings, such as Pissed off, turds, and all that. Interms of sex jokes the series is very tame. Honestly I one of the reason it didnt catch on is because people couldnt decide what to make of it. Its humor teeters on adult sitcom territory but the punchlines are more loony tunes than family guy.
For reference, the creators original pitch for this show was a to be a live action sitcom akin to something Always Sunny or Wilfred.
the handful of sex jokes in this show are usually about Dan unironically being attractive to women but too autistic to have a relationship, or Chris being more interested food than being with his hot ninja wife.
