I don't understand these types of artists whose mental health is affected by AI-generated garbage. Tell me again how this affects an artist in any way.
Art is all about self-expression, something AI cannot achieve because it lacks agency, humanity, a soul, or whatever else you want to call it.

I think the artists who are having a meltdown are the ones who have never dared to put something of themselves in their art, only chasing after current trends and attention from an audience.
I guess if your art has nothing to say and can only exist because of its visuals, I can understand the fear of AI "taking your job".
But is that the fault of AI, or rather the unwillingness of the artist not to do more with their art, infusing it with life which goes beyond the visual?

Artists who are telling a story through art stay unbothered by AI. Don't you think there is a reason for that?
They are too busy drawing and expressing themselves to care about some robots imitating what it's like to be human.

Once again, the age-old saying holds true: JUST DRAW!

Idc about ai but take it out of here. All ai spammers are poojets that don't even know how to use a toilet yet they are acting like they know shit about technology.

Artists who are telling a story through art stay unbothered by AI.

what are you talking about? they are the ones who find it the most abhorrent
ghibli, who has produced animation for pretty much his whole adult life, is the one who calls AI disgusting and to never bring it in front of him

Once again, the age-old saying holds true: JUST DRAW!

this is best directed towards people who use AI, to implore them to create something with their own hands instead of bragging about the amount of effort it takes to click a button

Who cares. It cost nothing.

They don't give a shit about art. They want to "make it big" and ai is cutting into their margins. That's why people with hammer and sickle in their twitter names bring up copyright violations into this. They don't make art as a means of self-expression, they either make fanart or design wannabe gatcha ocs .

i mean i know that and you know that, but the bigwigs in business usually don't

also i said this prior but if anything, this ghibli-imitation stuff should be used an opportunity for one to experiment with their art; do something in a style that isn’t popular enough to be imitated by robots

ghibli, who has produced animation for pretty much his whole adult life

John Ghibli

Is this legal? Do they have the rights to advertise a "Studio Ghibli" filter?

meant hayao miyazaki, sue me
but almost everyone alive who actually knows how to draw does not support AI art

AI in general costs a great deal of electricity. It's not just crypto that has driven up computer component prices.
