Cartoon Network will be saved tomorrow. Are you excited?
Cartoon Network will be saved tomorrow. Are you excited?
I find this claim spurious
CN is fucking dead. Didn’t even know this show was premiering tomorrow nir do I have any interest in checking it out.
No
Are you excited?
Subscribed to cable for the first time since 2011 for this and cancelling it again when this is canceled
I like cute black girls and all but I'm feeling pretty ehh about this one.
How many times are you going to spam this? No one even cares enough to hatepost about it.
No.
its not really spamming because if there was some group trying to promote the show, theyre doing a fucking god awful job of it.
It's coming out tomorrow? I thought it was next week.
CN is beyond saving
If it’s halfway decent, it could breathe some life back. It’s been a wasteland lately. So it seems kind of fitting.
Wait, there's three episodes coming out tomorrow? What's the release schedule looking like for the rest of the show?
Why do african stuff use phanters when they're from india? Why not more lions or cheethas?
i cant wai t

Well at least the animation is better than Invincible but the voice acting is really bad
Dead on arrival. CN ratings in general don't have high ratings anymore.
Should have aired it on Toonami or Netflix/Hulu.
It's premiering tomorrow?
Yeah, tomorrow morning it looks like according to TV schedules.
african societies irl were clannish, tribalistic, racist, patriarchal, didn’t care about freedom, individualism, equality, progress, secularism, feminism, “rights”, rule of law, rationality, objectivity, or putting truth before face.
were
bad voice acting
bad animation
meh script
meh character designs
It's going to bomb, to the delight of these faggots
Looks lame
It's still quite new.
The Black Sands creator stopped fleecing people yet?
Honestly, at this point I just want to know if the show is going to be at least ok.
It's funny how African-Americans have to invent fictonal futuristic advanced civilizations like Wakanda while demonizing stuff like the original Br'er Rabbit folk tales and the Tar Baby and such which were based on actual West African folk tales passed down through oral tradition by the slaves on the plantations
Well, this is an African show. As in from the continent itself.
What the fuck? I love Africa now
That cat better fuck the hell out of that girl.
I imagine it'll be her most popular porn pairing.
CN died when SU was greenlit. Then they butchered AT. This is when the woke cancer timeline began.
African accents are so funny, might watch just for that.
So, what are the odds we get rips for the episodes today?
If it's out on Hulu, good.
Cartoon Network is far from being saved. But I do hope your show does well despite being Warner Brothers
Torrents when ?
were
African-Americans have to invent fictonal
Africans didn't invent Wakanda
Stan Lee and Jack Kirby aren't black.
It's funny how White-Americans have to invent fictional futuristic advanced civilizations like Star Wars while demonizing stuff like Shakesphere and Twain and such which were based on actual European folks talkes passed down through oral tradition by peasants on the farm
The nature of modernity is to make shit up that isn’t real at all and then insist it is real through circular logic.
People will fail to see the irony in this post and think your being real, so I'm just explicitly stating white people like both.
I've seen a little snobbery from classical theater kids, but never seen a star wars nerd shit on Shakespeare.
I hope so then. I think other Cartoon Networks shows were so maybe this one will too.
Then I will explicitly state that most black people are generally just ignorant of past stories, and those that do are usually taught through a white liberal lens and not from a Black culturist lens. I think if more black people were taught to be more open to forms of older media particularly of which focused on black culture (so things like Uncle Tom's Cabin, Br'er Rabbit, John Henry), you would see a lot more modern adaptations of these stories. But alas a lot of our people are ignorant of our past outside of "we wuz slaves and oppressed n sht", when we are more than that.
Not all media needs to be for the same audience. This isn’t communist Russia or racist Germany or religious extremist like Middle East or Italy.
ATLA but African
How original
True. But the network really needs one massively popular franchise to lure everyone in to watch the rest.
It's a tragedy that white liberal retards lable anything with any edge as racialy oppressive. My boomer white peace corp mother had several african/carribean folk tale childrens books, that I'm sure would get her canceled now.
For example, I don't even understand thier objection to Disney's "song of the south" movie. Or the recent Frog Princess, although that wasn't strictly an african folk tale.
You may be more than that but there are too many grifters in all camps reinforcing that narative for political ends.
Crap, I forgot to tune in. Has anyone recorded episode 1?
I believe someone forgot to tell the filmmakers that the book the movie was based on was set after the Civil War.
As an ESL I can barely understand certain sentences, why can't they just speak proper english? You didn't hear the VAs of The Last Airbender put on fake asian accents ,some very specific characters like that indian guru aside.
Why does everyone sound like they came straight from a Wakanda movie?
Why are five year olds kicking the shit out of fully grown men and blocking machetes with their bare arms?
It's being recorded in Nigeria, I believe.
Any close up shots of her feet?
How many African shows are there? African not Black shows.
Timon and Pumbaa, The Lion Guard, Iwaju
