They're both adaptations of video game franchises, both adaptations were directed by Adi Shankar (though he dropped out of Castlevania after Season 2), and both adaptations are characterized by heavy profanity that isn't present in the original material. Also they introduce really pointed themes that are almost antithetical to the original material.

I mean that show would be perfect because DMC is silly and stuff like that was unironic written in bayonetta which is a true sequel to the original. But it was also written in Capcom continuity, the problem is that a show like DMC really needs flair, it needed to be a sakugafest something made by animators. Like those Watanabe projects.

Not really. In Bayonetta, both sides of the conflict were originally working to keep balance, but then the angel aligned wizards broke the peace and tried to anihilate the witches.
Both the angels and demons only care about controlling humanity and humanity is barely aware of their existence. There's no expectation that the demons would have to do their parts or even want to invade earth, that stuff was kickstarted by humans.
You clearly don't know shit about DMC or Bayonetta besides some superficial understanding of the plot, which is surprising since these games aren't even really that deep.

They don't take themselves seriously. In fact DMC 2013 takes itself more seriously than most mainline games, the jokes end after the prologue.
