Theyre spectrums of light that use female avatars despite being genderless. I know its an unsubtle trans allegory because how the fuck do you make a complete abomination like Florite?

has breasts

not female

i dont know how someone could actually write that without confusing themselves.

They're actually just lite brights

No, yeah, you're not wrong. There's a popular theory that the gem race is actually just a form of artifical intelligence that were created by an alien species that preceded them, and by this point, have been dead for a long, long time.
Coupled with them being non-organic, and with the way Pearls access technology and electronic devices, and of course the title of that song from the SU movie. "system/BOOT.PearlFinal(3).Info"
It's pretty telling.

Even if they are an artifical intelligence, they're robotic/artifical in some kind of way.

its literally just weird non binary trannies, stop act ing like it was anything different.

Wamp, wamp, wamp. The 'no fun' police have arrived, and they're here to put a stick up yer ass for thinkin' any different.

at least you didnt disagree, i can respect that. enjoy your creepy troontoon in peace anon.

>has breasts

>not female

They don't produce eggs, so they're not female. Except Rose/PD. She did, and was, when she was set up for it.

having mammaries implies they have a gender based species.

Well, you're not entirely wrong. I wish the show wasn't just MLP, but for queers, like actually honed in more on the actual conflict, sci-fi aspects, and tried to make more of it's core lore.
The diamond authority, and it's society, could've been way more interesting, and fleshed out, had they not make a gazillion townie episodes just for the hell of it.
White Diamond was their biggest blunder, and showcased everything that was flawed with the show, and it's writing.
I sometimes wonder if the crew regrets making those episodes, because those slots could've gone to lore episodes instead, or dual focus on the townies and lore.
It was wasted fucking potential from the very start.

No, that's Mooninites.

That wasn't the question.

They don't have breasts, barring Rose. They have the suggestion of them via the curves of their outlines. Rose is the only one consistently drawn with cleavage.

Rose is the only one drawn with breasts, but all the gems run a pretty wide gamut between being very feminine and being literal architecture with a face. White Diamond is incredibly feminine and even human-like despite also still lacking breasts.

dont forget the hips, only men with serious hormone problems develop hips like the gems do.
or like ingesting hormone replacements

Pearl, yes. The rest? Probably not, they don't really come across as that.
I mean obviously they're ALL artificial constructs, but the pearls are the only ones that're comparable to actual "computers" in-universe.

IIRC some(/most?) of RS's personal SU art was more liberal with cleavage and such, and the show had a couple times where Amethyst or someone would have more detail to their boobs. Pretty sure it's just an artstyle thing.

were created by an alien species that preceded them

Giant space oysters.

Sneeple.

It seems gems come in different levels of complexity, with diamonds having a full range of thoughts and rubies being singular task minded. Lesser gems are magic computers. Pear and Amethyst don't really ever break from their "programing" I'd say Garnet does though.

Probably something like that.
I'm sure Rebecca knows the answer, when will they let her tell us?

Ruby seemed loaded with information pertaining to her job and specific assignment, and they all seemed like true AI's, made for a specific purpose but with potential to adapt and evolve. Pearls just have far larger databases built in, a wiki/google at their master's service

sneeple

The hate on this show is overblown. The love is too. People get so in the weeds about 'le trannies' shit either talking about how this show is the downfall of western animation or the progressives trying to act like it's some big step for the gay agenda when, in reality, it's another alright CN Show, on par with Billy and Mandy or the KND.

restores factory default settings

Nothing personal, faggot.

restores your factory default settings

Nothing personal, gemigga.

Billy and Mandy and KND didn't have lore and overarching stories that made people theorize and analyze like weenie hut critics. KND somewhat, but not to the degree that SU purposefully set out

Maybe if comparing overall level of quality, because those two cartoons were way better than SU at being cartoons. But SU presented stories, mysteries, character arcs and themes made for developing an autistic loyal fanbase

are children even entertained by the townie episodes?

filmdaze.net/steven-universe-diamond-days-escapism-review/

I am used to Steven Universe’s capability to express complex themes and tell an engaging story within a short span of 11 minutes. I don’t know what I was expecting from Together Alone’s cliffhanger, but it certainly wasn’t this mildly dull adventure with nothing much to say. Lukewarm and ill-placed, Escapism is a disappointment and the first misstep in an otherwise amazing arc.

Escapism was about the Watermelon Stevens instead of the townies, but how many townie episodes fall under the

mildly dull adventure with nothing much to say. Lukewarm and ill-placed

category?

The hate on this show is overblown.

maybe, doesnt mean it doesnt deserve it or thats its false though.

god pearl is cute

there wasnt a question? you just threw some random statements, you fucking sped.

after thinking steven universe was gay and cringe all this time my friend finally made me watch it. by the end of season 1 i started to like it and now we're on season 5 episode 26 and i like it a lot. i'm glad i finally gave it a chance.

This anon said >Theyre spectrums of light that use female avatars despite being genderless. I know its an unsubtle trans allegory because how the fuck do you make a complete abomination like Florite?
This anon quoted all of that and added

>has breasts

>not female

i dont know how someone could actually write that without confusing themselves.

The second anon thought that having breasts made something female, and so thought the first anon was confused regarding the "genderless" point. And so that misconception was corrected here . As such, this anon was going off on an unrelated tangent. Mammaries/breasts and sex/gender are different things. Male humans have mammaries, and all Gems use feminine personal pronouns despite lacking gametes (Rose excepted).

alrighty loony troon.

>I know its an unsubtle trans allegory

Is is? Genderless being are a somewhat common trope in scifi. There is obviously land of the lustrious but also something like warhammer orks, who appear as male but are genderless shroom people

Land of the Lustrous, sorry for misspelling it im a retard

She's perfect.
