I was going to jokingly throw stones in a glass house in regards to your announcement but I have to remember that I'm in thread about a show I only like in concept, not execution.
That the realization that I wouldn't even fucking be here if I had actually liked the show hit me, since I would have been able to put it away forever if I somehow did enjoy all the seasons.
That this empty feeling I feel needs to be filled, but it's like trying to fill a bucket with a hole on its bottom. It's just not going to happen. There isn't enough good experience from the show to do anything good for me.
I would have cropped up only if Season 7 aired if the show was good, but here I am now lamenting my opinions that I haven't bothered to touch up upon since I've not done a rewatch since the show's ending. Perhaps it's a coping mechanism in preparation of what is yet to come.

I can relate to this, although my path had been different. Show's concept since TAWOG's first pre-release mystery ads is what pulled me in and kept me truly entertained until mid-to-late third season. Beyond that point I kept coasting on my initial appreciation despite the fact that show became too cringy and formulaic for me to enjoy watching it. After S6 finale had been aired, I've lost almost all interest in the franchise, but kept telling myself that it's a great cartoon due to its original premise and potential that ultimately went unused.
This isn't just TAWOG thing, either - same thing happened to my perception of Xilam's flagship cartoon, "Oggy & the Cockroaches". Loved its absurdism, how mundane situations can escalate to utter disasters (like how cockroaches' sticking a wad of chewing gum onto the lens of Oggy's telescope had led to Oggy and his best friend being brutalized by every human on Earth) and - even when show's formula became stale and boring - I kept telling myself that this stuff is consistent comedy gold. When show had been revived after prolonged hiatus, I was initially ecstatic, watched a couple of episodes, grew bored and stopped paying attention to it completely.
The key difference between both series is that becoming a Terifag during hiatus had forced me to care how TAWOG utilizes its potential and original concept - and this shattered my perception of it being a consistently good cartoon. I still expect it to deliver and improve itself, but I have no hope that this will be the case.
It's so interesting to me most my enjoyment for this IP comes from fan content instead of the show itself. i remember enjoying the series up to S3, but at some point it started getting too post-ironic and internet-fueled, it made me just roll my eyes. Doesn't help it attracted some really stupid people in LatAm, who to this day they think Gumball created shitpost as a concept...
