The show itself has some real pretty animation. What you would expect since the show was done my TMS. I like her relationship with Lucas both as friends/coworkers and lovers.
The show itself is a mixed bag. Has some good episodes (Tera, The one with Lori and The Eye), and some pretty mediocre ones (The circuss one, the gargoyles one, the one with the brainwashing). Idk, feels like wasted potential, but never checked the comics so can't say.

Someewhat odd designs, unusually great animation, a strange dystopian superhero genre. It reminds me a bit of Cyborg 009 in theme. Don't be surprised if you start making BTAS comparisons.

I'm a superhero but I'm chased by a villain everywhere and I'll die if I don't kill minions and drink their blood.

Most of the minions are messed up genetic freaks even worse than me and that die just attempting to fight me.
It's like the BTAS episodes where Clayface gets dissolved in the rain and flushed into the ocean, except that's the normal in most episodes.

A good stand-alone superhero show that plays it straight and avoids all the retarded bullshit superhero fiction has drowned in for decades.

Lmao, that was the point where my friends and I quit this show. So much of the episode was boring as shit. So many repeated shots of those fucking gargoyles flying around with the exact same annoying screeching sound effects over and over. For having such good animation, the storyboarding was frequently amateurish as fuck.
