While you are correct regarding V, it's important to note that while V's psycho-bitch sadist slasher murderer persona was a farce to cope with the Solver strong-arming her into performing her duty as an eldritch vampire genocide-pet through threatening N, J was on the Solver's side WILLINGLY.
Of course, J had her reasoning for this. And it's somewhat sound, considering J's experiences and what existing as a Disassembly Drone is like under the Solver with being endlessly ripped back from the clutches of death and thrown into a new body for the Solver's amusement and goals. It doesn't completely justify her either, but you can understand why she is so utterly hopeless and sees no point in doing anything other than being on the "winning team".
The main difference between V and J is that V was "doing her job" to try and protect N, and was mindbroken into a completely new personality opposite of her old Worker Drone self just to carry out the act of being a mass slaughtering monster. J gave her service to the Absolute Solver out of apathy and a need for recognition. The J(obber) is just sick of losing.
