The more I've learned about him the more I realize history has been incredibly unkind and in many ways unfair to him. What do you mean by conservative, though? Because that can mean anything from historically traditionally, American contemporary, or Trumpism (which is 90's liberal views).

"It's A Wonderful Life" is also very conservative by modern standards.
