Next month, IMMORTAL THOR #23 by writer Al Ewing and artist Jan Bazaldua marks the beginning of Thor Odinson's last stand. A saga that’s been building since Ewing started his acclaimed run, the new arc finds Thor alone against the fury of the malevolent Gods of Utgard. The omens can no longer be denied. The prophecy can no longer be delayed. The hour has come for the God of Thunder’s demise!

hopefully it's not the same style of misdirect Ewing just did in All-New Venom

Renumbering the same writer's run is stupid but I enjoy this run so I'm happy it's continuing. Why is Marvel obsessed with giving everyone a death and resurrection arc? Doctor Strange, Moon Knight, and now Thor and probably Silver Surfer. I'm hoping Thor and Norrin are resurrected quickly like the others were.

The 1610 hammer was destroyed and Volstagg hated being the War Thor since then.
Also the 1610 hammer carried all of the grief and regret ultimate thor had, and when jane purified its remains, it became her new valkyrie's bracelet and weapon.
