Marissa Lenti is Gangle's VA and she is known for being a huge ribbun shipper and being active on tumblr where she reblogs basically any ribbun fanart on the site. A few threads ago we were joking about crew members who would browse Anon Babble and we decided that she would be the most likely, then a couple hours later a random anon posts two ribbun pieces from tumblr with one only having 73 reblogs so I joked saying it could have been her.

I didn't ship it at first and still don't for canon but I really like Showtime mostly because of that ao3 art people posted and like says I really like Abstragedy now. After than Jax and Ragatha but I want to see their respective episodes before getting too far into it.

Queenie and Kinger are my favorite but it makes me sad to think about too much cause I don't think we're getting Queenie back. Poor Kinger.

I don’t actually believe it was her, btw. I seriously doubt any of the crew is on Anon Babble. I just said that because of how coincidental it was.
Glad to see someone agree with me on Abstragedy. I think this show excels at character pairing and that’s why shipping is so rampant. I’m assuming anyone that has abstracted is basically dead because it would feel really cheap to undo that for any character.

I'm not in that camp. I don't mind when there's rules in fantasy that give people a second chance, as long as it's well written. Kinda gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling. Besides, everybody does sad ending, like it's some big accomplishment to be miserable. There's no crime in being hopeful and having happily ever afters.
It's why man of steel sucks and regular superman is better.

It seems like every episode puts a character in the worst possible situation for them

I've actually been thinking a bit about that lol (sorry for the autistic senseless ramble btw)
We only really had that with episode 4 and debatibly episode 2. In 4's case it was a worst situation because it was Gangle who brought it all down to everyone and more visibly herself. She made the day hell for wanting a facsimile "return to normalcy" and by the end of it reminded her how her own life was already a shit situation even before the circus.

In, debatibly, episode 2. The whole shit situation stems from Pomni not feeling like she can trust the other humans, she thinks them all so separate of their humanity after what went down with Kaufmo and thinks they'll just leave her for dead when the chance presented itself. Through the episode she got separated from the others and befriended an npc thus finding solace in the idea that while the others might not really care she could find empathy and relation with the things this world could offer even if it was all on accident. By the end of the episode she realizes the other humans do care for her as well so she still grows comfortable with them and is continuing from that point on.

Ep3 and the pilot are outliers because the pilot simply shows the whole setting off and, while being directly followed by ep2's funeral and all, doesn't really hold much shittery (which might change in retrospect if the is hidden foreshadowing in there). Ep3 is kinda mostly a horror episode for the horror holiday, it isn't much of a shit situation at the end of it all but it does cement the fact into Pomni that the others (sans Jax) are reliable and do care for each other. The zooble side of things really is just set up for something I just don't know what exactly yet kek

So what’s your opinion on ships?

I haven't had this much fun with shipping since who knows how long, the characters here lend themselves great for interesting interactions

Pretty much your pic in that order kek, but I cannot stress enough how much showtime in particular has hit me like a drug and I don't even know how they wormed their place into my brain, maybe it's the fanart/fics, I love both the lovely wholesome fun pair stuff and more depraved power dynamic play of it
