What can we learn from it?
What can we learn from it?
That I was too old for adventure. And there are advantages to that
no ship obsession
I appreciate the finer details of the series' storytelling
no lorefaggotry obsession
Like, all the threads are about pretentious, weirdo shippers and lorefaggots fighting against each other. Like, I get that the series has lore, deals with deep themes and relationships are a thing. But it's not exactly what your pubescent headcanon thought it was. I think Adventure Time and Harry Potter, another massive children's franchise, have similar problems. From adults who haven't outgrown the series
Shut up retard
That you need to make whores know their place
In life, cool swords come first. If you lose sight of this, you will suffer.
t. Samurai Jack
It's a lesson that can be learned from many animated series.
If throw a big enough tantrum you’ll become the ruler of a country
Something obvious
Killing your baby is more merciful than letting the wolves eat him alive
Fucking Pendlenton
What?
Women, be it 2D or 3D ones, are inherently evil and are not to be trusted
You just need to avoid whores
Keep a stranglhold on your creation and don't let your subordinates take over
Don’t sacrifice your goofy boys adventure cartoon to the altar of Tumblr.
How not to do a lot of things, honestly.
Pairing the two main girls together, then cucking the MC out of his consolation prize, and having him get raped by the ugly joke character is unhinged and evil.
Enumerate them.
He should’ve lost his virginity with this fire mamacita
That only the original creator of something knows what to do with it. Literally anyone who comes after will be not as good at best, and probably actively bad.
When?
You were talking about “The Cooler”?
Pandering to fandom is a risky venture, and pandering to the tumblr side of the fandom primarily will make your work gay and lame, because that’s what they like.
Bros before Hos. Jake was loyal and good to Finn to the bitter end.
That's most of them.
Too many cooks in the kitchen spoil the broth.
See your vision through to the end.
I'm even older and whenever I tried to watch an episode it was just too annoying to absorb.
I don’t think this is always true.
You’re not old, you’re just a normalfag.
No
Then what?
learning lessons from cartoons
ISHYGDDT
This
K
You can
that if a studio can make a successful cartoon with cheap hideous animation, then they will never pay for good animation ever again
hideous animation
You don’t what you’re talking about
hideous animation
You know exactly what you’re talking about.
I watched the first two or three seasons as they aired before I aged out of it. revisiting it as an adult made me realize that this is actually the one instance where “shippers” are right, it’s not about having a self-insert and needing him to have a harem or whatever, the writers basically shafted their own protagonist for subversion’s sake and turned the whole thing into an aimless mess.
compare the romance in AT to something like Silverbolt and Black Arachnia in Beast Wars, a romance arc should be a story in of itself, it can be reduced to being a “reward” for a protag to give them a happily ever after, but what AT did was just sloppy, indulgent, and self-righteous.
do not let fucking tumblr users write for your show
where?
Straight subs are the most opressed group on earth
That's because the show was taken over by male "allied" feminist and Sugarshills after Pen cucked out, fuck Sugar herself wanted to turn the show into your typical tumblr lesbian coffeeshop AU with Marceline and PB, Sugarshills will tell you that she shipped Finn with Marceline or Flame Princess but then that falls apart once you check that even the retard of Muto himself admitted that it was Sugar the one cried enough on the writing team like a tumblrina and wouldn't take a NO as answer to include her shitty fanfiction, makes you glad that Zuke would do the same to her in her own show afterwards.
Male*
When given the keys to the kingdom, Tumblr can’t write something that satisfies any other person that isn’t them. They got the opportunity to be based, but took the cringe path.
If "tumblr" wrote the show for itself why would it pander to you?
How is writing your own show for yourself not the textbook definition of being based?
Otaku took over anime and it can still appeal to general audiences as well as themselves.
Tumblr can only write for itself, what they like is too lame to cross over to other demographics.
It’s cringe because they had to parasitize to do it, and they couldn’t strike a balance.
Not to leave your creative project half way through and leave it to Rebecca sugar to take over because it will turn into woke soap opera shitty episodes that lead nowhere
