How does Anon Babble feel about this channel? Is it good, bad, merely serviceable? Does it do well what it sets out to do? Is the lineup lacking? Do (You) even have an antenna?
MeTV Toons
I like it a lot.
I have it on in the background and it's just comfy.
I'm hopeful they will add centurions and some filmation dc stuff.
It's in my city, but I'm JUST out of rage so I can't pick up the signal.
Didn't even know it existed.
not just getting a 20$ Roku and getting Boomerang for free
Boomerang is dead
Thank me later anons!
Thetvapp.to
that boomerang app was never free to begin with
It's good but I don't watch it as much since they lost the rights to Rocky and Bullwinkle. And I do in fact have an actual antenna since I'm too cheap to pay for cable or streaming services.
Duck Dodgers tomorrow night
You know you can watch all that shit on demand right
I like live TV, it's comfy.
Fractured fairy tales from season 1 and 2 is peak design
How does Anon Babble feel about this channel
I wish I got this channel
It's good background noise and filler, glad my CRT is new enough to use digital, just wish it broadcast in HD anyways cuz picture is kinda shit on LCD and CRT.
same but at least metv still shows toon in with me and Saturday morning cartoons

THE OUTBACK WILL BE FUCKING NUKED AUSFREAK
bump from page 8
Holy shit it actually works thanks buddy
delete this, posts like these got the last pirate stream site deleted
I learned I don't like Woody Woodpecker at all.
Please delete. Pirated content needs a certain level of gatekeeping, otherwise we'll keep losing the good sites.
.t newfags
It's a drop in the bucket, anyway
that's only because they spam his later shorts. the pre-1950 woody cartoons are golden. "the reckless driver" is a classic.
The only way I can get it is if I buckle down and buy a TV antenna for my 4K TV lol.
I might do it.
Lineup is great, even better than old cartoon network and boomerang. Constructive critique is the bumpers could be better.
I think anything pre-1956 lantz is mostly worth watching
I dunno about that, but it's much better than nu Boomerang
I'm surprised Freakazoid is on MeTV Toons, since one of the people running MeTV Toons said they're having a hard time getting Animaniacs and Tiny Toons because of them being co-owned by Spielberg and Freakazoid is the same thing as well, yet that's on there
Can only guess Freakazoid is less popular than those two, and therefore the license is less expensive.
and that's why pirating is better, fuck begging those assholes to run it.
Boomerang fucking sucks though.
Doesn't the picture ever look squashed? Given it's a 16:9 signal on a 4:3 TV (unless you're one of those lucky bastards with a wide screen CRT)
Does the antenna channel broadcast in HD or would I have to sign up for some crap?
depends, but probably not
Gotcha
It's not half bad. They've been airing Beetlejuice and The Super Friends lately and I've been enjoying that. Even some Plasticman here and there. With this and Boomerang starting to air stuff like Dock Dodgers and even the original Ben 10 it's been fun watching.
overall pretty good, though it's a crying shame that they waste 3½ hours of their Sunday schedule with the utterly abysmal "Totally Tooned In" package(like even if it didn't have a bunch of Mr Magoo* it'd be really mediocre, and with Magoo in it it becomes the single worst thing on the channel), though the two hours of The Whacky World of Tex Avery following it is a very close second in terms of garbage scheduling
*something I have learned very quickly in the months since MeTV Toons premiered is that Mr Magoo is probably the single most unfunny and unentertaining thing they air, like sure there's arguably much worse cartoons that have gotten aired(many of the later Famous Studios Popeye shorts, the Gene Dietch Tom & Jerry shorts, most of the Depatie-Freleng and Seven Arts era Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies shorts), but the Mr Magoo shorts have the big issue that they're not only unfunny they have absolutely abysmal pacing that makes an approximately seven minute short feel twice as long to watch
I skip any of those Totally Tooned In parts. I hate what compilations like that do to the usual pacing cartoon segments had by mixing them up like that and pairing them with whatever. Didn't realize it was dominated by Mr. Magoo of all things. I also wish they didn't bother with those puppet shows. Not really into those but those only air at four in the morning so maybe there are fans at that hour.
