The original run took its conceit seriously, the fuck are you even on about?
Does she show up in the back half?
Apparently she's in the first fucking issue. The second issue's solicit is ABOUT Poole, because it's her comic.
Are American comic readers just really fucking stupid? This thing basically writes itself. You have a meta narrative character confronted with a character that's basically *exactly what people thought she was before her book came out*, with ridiculous parody aspects like having "flipping the bird" Wolverine claws. It's going to be a comic about Poole dealing with bad trends in the industry. Fuck, I feel pretty confident one of the beats is going to be Poole realizing this "Stacey" is another new character like her, basically born with a crystalized version of the festering doubt and fears of losing herself because of how comics work. The big payoff will probably be explaining that the comics that exist can never be undone and the whims of some suit are temporary while ideas can live forever and come back with time.
This isn't complicated. Are you fuckers braindead? If you saw "Superman DIES" in a solicit would you just immediately assume that's what happens in the story and there's nothing else to it? Holy fuck.
I mean I get the joke I'm just not really laughing.
You don't seem to, since you've got a retarded victim complex and you're acting like it's a matter of spite when this is obviously a "Poole is great" story. Holy shit.
