That's what I do most of the time, but the urge comes back every April
Because most of them are several years old and based on ideas I forgot about, if they were based on any ideas at all
I guess I could try again with a lot more planning, but that usually leads to me losing interest before I even upload page 1

How about you just plan a small story, like 100 pages or something? I'm sure you can finish that. Also are you doing sprites or more individual drawings for each page?

I don't know. I'd have to think about it a bit more, I guess
But maybe actually finishing writing a story will make me feel better

Yeah planning is absolutely your best friend there. Work out exactly what you need, and then try to fit within that budget. It's like running a ttrpg: Yeah everyone talks about the big multi-year campaign that they played with their friends, but most of those crash and burn before they go anywhere. Everyone remembers the kickass oneshot more fondly.

What just reinforces it more for me is that she even knew I was having nightmares at all. Nightmares were very uncommon for me from 1999-2020, but around then, I started having them like crazy and recently I’ve been having them almost every night. Stuff that really gets under my skin, too. The fact that she knew to bring it up when I don’t talk about it in these threads…I mean, jeez…

My nightmares didn’t involve spiders, anon. My nightmares are always depressingly mundane because I’m afraid of mundanity. It’s always me being locked in a psych ward for years or confined to a shack in the Midwest having to hide a body in an oil drum instead of hanging out with nerds, furries or cartoons/vidyas like I want out of life. She gave me a dream that was exciting, videogamey and that let me dunk on some people that I have grievances with. Your concern is noted but overturned.

Yeah, her design is fantastic, one of the best in the comic. The contrast between yellows and blues is really pretty and she it makes for great contrast to John's god tier as well. These two are literally made for each other
