i won't say Gumball doesn't have impact, but its impact is just vapid memes. People still remember the series' mixed media and snappy comedy, but that can be said for other IPs, like Smiling Friends, ENA, TADC, etc.

I would say that Adventure Time pandering to boys at one point is its saving grace. People are easily swayed by their nostalgia and will forget the bad times (like when Finn gets raped by the purple cloud thing) and will just mostly remember the good.
Now Gumball is a different beast entirely. It was always in third place and it never gained any sort of relevance until the SJW scene hooked in people. How that evolves from there I can't say.
