On one hand, Taeshi probably doesn't want to alienate her immature twittard audience with basic truths they're not able to handle. But on the other, she's probably glad no gay angst is around to outweigh the repetitive tepid nothing-drama she likes to pretend is oh so enthralling. I also think part of it is that if she *did* treat it seriously, it'd be hard to write Paulo as being fine with being bi and all.
