Martin mystery is pretty good

From the same people who made Totally spies, How come seemingly only around 5 people still know this ever existed? (and like 2 people who know the original comic this was based on) It's kind of like a mix between Totally spies and Scooby-Doo in a good way, I genuinely like all the characters and the monster designs can go really hard.

Because it only aired very briefly on a rival network from the one that was airing Totally Spies in the US. It's a lot more well-known in France and Canada.

They always aired it on Nicktoons at the most random times. I don't even think that crossover aired here from what I remember.

I watched a couple episodes when I was a kid. I still remember the one about the terracotta army being there to actually keep the emperor imprisoned rather than to serve him when he wakes up. Pretty nice touch.

I guess it was more popular up north and in also Europe, though there is a couple dubs in other languages which only like half the season was properly dubbed and then they just gave up seemingly

and they had a caveman named Java

not much too him but he's a lovable character

What a coincidence, I was watching this earlier.

Thoughts so far?

Good thoughts because I first saw it as a baby.

Diana was based
This show was probably my favorite from Marathon

Way too formulaic but it had it's moments and it gets points for working in an Evil Dead episode.

Yeah, more rigid and formulaic than Totally spies even. The episode in the abandoned lodge where Diana gets possessed is peak, I've nearly finished season 1. Apparently there is also an episode which plot is basically just The Thing

it had the best character designs (not saying the Spies once sucked, just that they perfected their designs with Martin Mystery)

I remember watching it when it was on Nickelodeon. It was fun but from what i recall they only aired it during school hours so I only managed to catch it when I was sick.

I think they also had a green alien member that rides around a small ufo. But he was added much later.

Billy was always in the show, you might be thinking about his human disguise later on

I remember it. It was pretty good, it also reminds me of this one show called Team Galaxy. Yoko was pretty hot.

Agreed, always a shame there's barely any smut of her compared to the Spies, (same goes for M.O.M.)

YES! I totally agree! There are barely any good screenshots of her, let alone Rule 34. We need someone with a high-resolution DVD to help Google images out, assuming there is a DVD.

Marathon has a fairly consistent track record of being horny on main.

French

Not even. French-Canadian.

I liked that Martin’s one shot characters doubled as background characters in TSpies season 3 and 4
Whoaaaaaaa buddyyyyyyy, Now we’re talking. Team Galaxy was fun

They did?

Mostly school story based characters, like this goddess

I can't claim that the comic was better, but it was a thing. I understand that MM at least was treated with more respect than Yoko Tsuno, god knows why.

I think marathon just interchanged character designs on a whim, even within the same show. They really just didnt give a shit

Billy about to get graped
