Are there any Spider-Man villains that are nobody's favorite?

ezekial
hes not even on that picture
Statistically speaking there must be. I doubt many people cared for Big Wheel and I'm sure we'd all like to pretend that Judas Traveler shit never happened.
Pretty much all of them after Carnage.
Not a villain.
shrinking ray dude from 80s animated series
ezekial
Is he a villain? I remember he was sort of a mentor figure to Spider-man
Foreigner
The Pro
The Inheritors
Digger
Though i am biased since I think all of the above I mentioned are total dreck.
There are plenty after Carnage that people like, it's just in the past 3 or 4 years there hasn't been any good new additions since all the new guys don't even feel like Spidey does.
There are plenty after Carnage that people like
lol
lmao
ezikeal still wanted to kill spidey though. not a very good villian if everyone thinks hes a hero now
No, he didn't.
No there's not. And if you say one now you're a fucking liar. Even Carnage himself is a character only liked by idiots.
inb4 paul
he tried to sacrifice spiderman to some spider demon.
Of the ones people have probably heard of, I'd say these are nobody's favorite
Hammerhead
Molten Man
Jackall
I might be stretching it a bit with the last one, but I rarely ever see any fans of the Jackal. He's technically important to the comic book in that he is crucial to the Clone Saga but as a character it seems no one really cares about him. It doesn't help he hasn't really had any proper adaptations as a villain. Hammerhead is just a mob guy with a gimmick. Molten Man is just a worse version of a villain like Sandman/Electro where a normal guy gets incredible powers.
And Luke Cage tried to arrest Peter in their first encounter, doesn't make Luke a member of his rogue's gallery.
i didnt say ezikeal was part of spidermans rogue gallery
OP asked for a villain and at one point ezikeal was a villain that no one liked.
Ok I won't say one, I'll say 3. There's Janice Lincoln as Beetle, Overdrive and Mr Negative. They are characters made after Carnage that have gotten enough positive attention, adaption use in some cases and are used by writers enough to have staying power personal opinions wether they are yours or mine not factoring in.
It doesn't have to be a villain no one likes, moreso a villain who maybe some people like or are okay with, but no one's going "hey this guy's my favorite". To me that's where guys like The Jackal or Hammerhead come in.
Some will mistakenly say someone like Chameleon or Scorpion but there are plenty of people who would call them their favorite.
Writers really like to use Hammerhead, plus he shows up in a lot of adaptions so it's kinda funny how ambivilant people are to him.
Does Molten Man's first appearance being my favorite Spider cover count for anything?
Jackal
I think his Far From Home design is cool even if it's technically not even a character.
Only if he's your favorite villain.
Carnage himself is a character only hated by faggots
FTFY
I don't hate Carnage but I wish other Spider-Man villains were made playable instead of him in stuff, same with Venom though I actually am a fan of Venom.
Probably Carrion?
If you're saying Chameleon has people who put him as their favorite then Jackal and Hammerhead have got to have some people as well. Hammerhead appeals to readers who are Italian or like the big mook/gangster who is simple enough in his methods and he had that ghost storyline. I think all of that will have at least 1 person gravitate towards him.
I like Jackal and if a writer does more with him like an idea I have where he runs a secret base that is training an army of clones and he still acts like a mix of 70's and 90's Jackal then I'd see him becoming a new favorite. The man is a goofy schizo.
Well yeah but if we're counting now, I'd say he isn't a villain anymore. He can be your favorite Ditko villain. More power to you. An underrated favorite of mine is Crime Master. Too bad Remender went the most boring way possible with him. He is best used as a nameless, faceless nobody like Ditko wanted except executed in a way that isn't bound to objectivism. Rather something like the Joker in the anonymity sense and being a ganglord.
Would like more 70's and 80's villains made playable. Stuff like Big Wheel while dumb, would be cool to use. Slyde, Cyclone, Beetle, etc. All should get some use. Man, I bring this up once in a while but that PC Quake mod, Dynamic Forces would have been my dream game if tech now could be used to tackle the same ideas.
I'd say the Foreigner, Human Fly, Mind Worm, and Razorback. They're all at best ironic favorites due to them being boring or just one-offs people like to say as a joke. Like those Amazing Spider-Talk guys do. Ugh.
Spider-man friend or foe is one of the few games that lets you play as a vast amount of Spideys villains and allies though even then my dude Shocker isn't playable and Electro is a psp exclusive alongside Carnage. I'm hoping Doc Ock gets to be playable in Rivals at least since on the topic or of they make another MVC, the guys who modded Shocker into 3 are true heroes.
Even in Spencer's run which had a lot of my faves and was my first reading introduction to guys like Chance, Slyde and Black Ant still didn't make me like him, in fact hated him since he's one of those no costume twats and just an insufferable douchebag and not the fun kind like Boomerang. Also yeah Human Fly is nobodies fave either, i don't like him but it has been fun to play up hating him in the past on Anon Babble.
Yeah I played Friend or Foe. That game made me wish Bruce Campbell played Nick Fury Sr. at least once. The computer had a sexy voice. Oh yeah and the Spec promo hidden in it makes me nostalgic. Goddamn it was the best of times for a guy who didn't read the shitshow going on in the comics at that time. But yeah it needed a larger roster and more budget.
Rivals needs Doc and Goblin. They're heavy hitters and have very unique movesets. Same with them also being used in MvC 4 whenever that comes out. Praying to god it looks like MvC3 and has non-ass characters like Miles or Kamala.
Who's the guy you hate? The way you wrote your post makes it unclear. Also I didn't know people already hated Human Fly. Haven't read his books yet. I just know he's connected to Jameson but isn't interesting like Scorpion was. Big Man and the Enforcers are also ones nobody has as a favorite. They're alright to use like Spec did as entry-level villains but that's it.
Probably Morlun,i legit have never hear anyone being his fan at all
It's crazy a shithead like that got a Marvel Legends before the characters I actually want to get any.
Was about to say him.
His family too.
Blame Slott. He was A (not THE) favorite of mine. So technically yes you could be correct regarding him not being the favorite. But yeah I still think he's cool alongside totems. As long as they are more spiritual and natural magic rather than multiversal bullshit.
I love watching millennials react to Jackal because he's "icky." Because you know a super villain should only ever be a paragon of virtue.
OMG HE'S LIKE VENOM BUT HE KILLS AND THAT'S SO EDGY!
Carnage sucks.
Wait till you hear about other 9000 symbiotes.
I am aware of them and I am not fond of them either.
i'm sure there are fans of them out there that i just don't hear about, but i don't think i've ever seen any Vulture or Kraven fans. Kraven has his last hunt and all that, but i've never really heard of anyone that seriously likes the guy. same for Vulture, he's always been the weakest of Spidey's "big-tier" rogues gallery - popular enough to show up from time to time, but nobody really seems to care about him. like the definitive "bad guy" to show up and get his ass kicked because nobody's going to care either way
If we're talking the main regulars I don't see much for Chameleon either.
Are there any Spider-Man villains that are nobody's favorite?

I see lots of Kraven fans (especially because of Last Hunt) and Vulture has a good amount of fans who like his gimmick. He also has the Roger Stern stories to fall back on that I would say there are a good amount of people who might call the Vulture their favorite.
Chameleon is probably the least popular of the core Spider-Man villains in terms of "he is my favorite" but I imagine he has some fans out there who could call him his favorite.
Morlun would be truly unpopular, same with The Jackal or Hammerhead.
Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Kingpin, Lizard, Venom, Mysterio, Carnage, etc are all big fan favorites. Hobgoblin and Shocker have cult followings. Kraven, Rhino, and Electro have plenty of fans. Scorpion has plenty of people who consider him their favorite who feel he is misused. Chameleon is probably the least popular in this regard. Jackal and Hammerhead are my picks, maybe Morlun but he's more just outright disliked than "nobody gives a fuck"
Both Venom and Carnage are creations of their time.
Venom is a response to 80's demand for making comic storylines darker. He's a twisted version of Spider-Man.
Carnage is a response to 90s demand for comic violence. Comics of that era were all OMG SO EDGY, especially McFarlane's stuff. Carnage could've been just an incidental character that they'd push out of comics by the time when decade ends. But readers liked him and then 2000s were even edgier. Carnage was a mutant cancer poo sucking out people. By the time 2010s came, he was already a classic villain, they couldn't just pretend he doesn't exist anymore.
That said, I personally dislike vampire villains the most. Even as a kid, I thought Morbius was lame and when Morlun appeared in comics, I was like "who tf is that he sucks". Then they started beating that idea to the ground with his re-appearances.
I respect anyone who's a fellow Morbius and Morlun hater..vampire cunts. Woulda been better if Spidey faced a Leech monster man with gross suction cup palms so he could fight Spidey on walls and drain strength from enemies or allies...yes it's kind of a Parasite ripoff but better then unearned strong twat in suit and lame version of Curt Connors/Lizard.
How many of those angry people are buying the comics, though? Is he okay with hate readers pirating it as long as they are indeed reading it?
There is something wrong with Carnage being liked. Let's just toss Gwen Stacy from the grave as a host then send her out to steal MJarnage from Spider Gwen by having lesbian sex in front of her. Make Carnage unlikeable again.
Very few. He's been saying dumbshit for years. Why is outrage the only option? Why not shoot for actual hype?!
