Like how in the original, when Lilo shows Nani that Stich is a living phonograph, she gives Nani a solemn side-eye, like "That's not normal, is it?". In this remake, she turns to Nani with a gleeful face, like "Tada!!". Ugh.

The live adaptation of Dumbo did the same thing, to the point calling it a "love version" is very disengenuois.
