Thoughts on the new Supergirl? And the new Supergirl book? Here's the storytime:
It's clearly going for a Silver Age style, so is there anything you hope to see?
Supergirl
Not as bad as expected or likely will be but still pretty shitty. No interest in lesbian bait or tranny subversion.
supergirl?
more like supersizegirl lmao
the second one is clearly hotter
Why does every comic look like there's an orange filter on it? Not just this one, all modern comics have the same issue.
It has potential to be pretty hot. Campbell can draw pretty good ladies.
Because they want women to read it.
I like both
Then a woman should write it.
I want to know more about the superbunny.
She's a repurposed Silver Age villain from Kandor. She's a villain because she's convinced everyone in her hometown that Kara is not a real gir- um, the real Supergirl.
He's talking about the rabbit you moron.
I'm pretty sure she was just jealous of Kara, so she tried to swap lives with her.
Pretty based. Silver age Supergirl is really underrated.
what
Super Yayita
Tranny makes story about taking over a girl's life due to jealousy
What did he mean by this?
One on the right as wife, one on the left as concubine, next question
Look at the rim light on this cover. This is the kind of thing digital color strangled in its crib. Digital was a mistake.
Why does every comic look like there's an orange filter on it?
We are living in an orange era. I mean, look at our President. People love the color orange, and they're too tired of the dull colors of the last decade, so orange filters are everywhere.
Judging from the responses nobody seems to know who the rabbit is, unless they're being deliberately obtuse
According to League of Comic Geeks, the rabbit is named Candy but I dunno what's their source on that.
Besides that, we don't know anything about it, maybe the next issue will elaborate.
fpbp
Tranny? Those tits?
Naive anon. Women hate women more than any other group does.
I was surprised they acknowledged Dick's death from back in the day.
I wish someone could explain what Kara's canon is right now.
This book seems to be a mix of Pre-Crisis and Rebirth.
Does the super-animal change every panel with the implication that se ate the previous one like in that Little Lotta comic?
fuck supergirl
I like how no one noticed they retconned the death of Kara's adoptive mom.
After reading Dan Slott's Superman. I'm out, I'm not a fan of the lazy soft reboot DC did with both of the characters.
I was actually hoping to get a continuation of Supergirl we were seeing in Action Comic, this feels like a stepback and a conscious decision to infantize the entire Superman line with goofy ass Silver Age storytelling.
It's a reboot, post crisis and new 52/Rebirth Supergirls never lived in Midville and Kara's parents were never government agents in the silver age.
When you read Slott's Superman you get a better glimpse into how they changed Superman's history
wtf thats super bimbo
Yeah, but that's Superman's story, not Kara's story.
based tranny making the young female characters actually cute and hot, a modern woke male writer would never
Technically, he still is a modern woke male writer
superthighs
See, this is why capes are healing.
yeha its like the jews at the top realised the idea of putting ugly weirdly proportioned characters as the "new heroes!" wasnt working
Really disappointed about the lack of art of this new Supergirl.
