So whats gonna happen now that the animation industry is completely cooked thanks to AI...?

So whats gonna happen now that the animation industry is completely cooked thanks to AI...?

Will the job of being animator be treated like jobs back in medieval times where they were passed down through family dynasties and apprenticeships with gross nepotism

you only see these threads when something bad happened to ai, what was it ?

Had to make another thread about this, huh?

This is quite literally my first thread on Anon Babble after watching the Google Tech Expo showing off their new AI engine

file.png - 353x520, 48.06K

you just won't stop with these threads, huh? This is your final warning, faggot. Either kill yourself or others will kill you themselves

Too retarded to use the catalogue then?

Google revealed some of their newest AI tech and its even more powerful than SORA ai in regards to animating. It even does fully voiced videos now.

that not why these threads are being made, they only come around when something bad happens and the shills need to run distractions.

AI isn't so relevant to the industory yet. It's struggling because kids watch youtubers and streamers instead. You don't even need AI to kill them.

first the Moviefag bot starts up again

then a new thread is made using one of the images

then another thread is made using stock “shill trying to sound casual” jargon with one of the most reposted ghibli filter images

So what tech sector fuckup happened this time? Every single time something undesirable happens Baljeet goes apeshit on Anon Babble

well im not a shill and I just wanted to discuss how the new tech is going to impact new movies and tv shows and the only bad news worth talking about now when it comes to AI is congress implementing some kind of widespread ban limiting commercial use.

I'm legitimately kind of terrified at how fast this shit is moving. I really don't like the idea of people just being able to spam out massive amounts of content with only the vaguest level of intent behind them. But we're getting there really fucking fast. Because of how much research and focus is going into this tech it's presently doubling in complexity every 6 fucking months. That's a 16 times rate of change over two years. We're already at the point that we're starting to get early generative videos and real-time voice synthesis to be paired with them, in two years that technology will improve by 16 times over should present rates continue.

I feel like we're rushing head-fucking-first into something really terrifying, like a yawning maw ready to devour us, and nobody up top really wants to stop because doing so just means you'll fall behind some other country's output. It's full steam ahead but where's the train fucking going?

apprenticeships with gross nepotism

So just like now?

I’m starting to understand what another anon said in a different thread, why do bots always space this particular way? Is it related to training data?

Only thing I've seen is people roasting an AI generated video that converted the first couple of seconds of the latest GTA VI trailer into Lego.

You still need people to direct the AI properly. The gruntwork of animation was already being outsourced so most of the jobs that AI is going to kill are already overseas.

You aint seen nothing yet.
Imagine a dystopian future where the title "animator" is held until you die and is passed down to the next of kin like an heirloom but its just a glorified managerial position where you don't actually have to know how to draw or animate.

I still think it’s funny that after several years and hundreds of billions of dollars thrown into the proverbial volcano that is “AI”, all it really has to show for it is 3rd-worlders spamming constant porn everywhere they’re not instantly banned from

Yeah it's easy enough to mock AI's present output, but it's improving and I really don't like the implications of where it's heading if things really do keep moving at the same rate. We're rapidly approaching a point where literally nothing will be believable on the internet because full videos can be rendered out of AI along with completely coherent and contextualized posts. A point where there can be hundreds of versions of The Lord of the Rings uploaded every day by feeding the book's text into a machine and telling it to make a movie out of it. Just an endless ocean of content being spammed.

Cartoons were always cooked. Look at CN's future lineup. AI is an improvement.

I giggle at these because I’m imagining how much energy will be guzzled up in doing so

I got curious and decided to check related boards:

Anon Babble has no threads about this

Anon Babble has no threads about this

Anon Babble has threads but they’re slow as fuck (the “hype train” goes under when there’s paywalls, go figure)

It’s literally always Anon Babble that gets hit with this gigantic shill brigade, I genuinely wonder if there’s some kind of background directive given to spam Anon Babble specifically for some reason, even though it’s been losing a ton of traffic lately if you check 4stats.

Why doesn't Anon Babble have a cartoon thread?

Jesus and you keep accusing other people as dumb.

I guess it's not that weird. Anon Babble would have lots of ''AI fags vs anti-AI fags'' threads if it's a Japanese website.

AI didn't kill animation, Hollywood did. Streaming killed the format where cartoons prospered the most, and Californian writers practically gave their male audience to Japan.

You noticed that too, huh?

AI companies just stated they are not making money of it.

Reading this made me feel like Squidward in that chrome future where he curls up on the ground and just starts saying "future" over and over.

the animation industry is completely cooked thanks to AI

The fact that you think that means your a tasteless faggot

Funny how many first time posters there are these days who identify themselves as such

This a stealth Jeet tech schill thread. If you actually want to get down why the animation is in a rough spot, it’s because the scene is quite inbred with the same group of people with the same ideas.

Why are we still pretending like AI isn’t a threat? We see its output; you can already make entire Youtube channels run by AI, making AI videos with AI voiceovers, and they make revenue off of them. Animation is not far behind.

You don’t fight AI by denying the truth of its efficiency. You fight AI by forcing Congress to regulate it on the basis of violating human rights, because a shitton of people are gonna go homeless otherwise.

Plenty of plumbing jobs are hiring. Go scrub a toilet.

one of my post calls for congress banning commercial usage of AI but sure im a "stealth jeet tech shill"

bot spacing

I've recently started having youtube recommend me videos entirely produced by AI, one of them about penguins making a republic or something, the entire thing was AI generated video with music and dialogue also being done by AI. And the comments were all just people praising it. Shit's really starting to get fucked now lads.

FUTURE.gif - 245x145, 401.86K

Kojimbo was right.

the comments were most likely also AI chatbots

It's a tech product managed, funded, and shilled by jeets an venture capital jews. Jeets can't make tech that works and VC retards don't know how to make anything tech related that actually turns a profit. Add in AI's massive resource needs and it's going to crash and burn once the buzzword appeal of it wears out

Nooooo! People can't just like new technology! It has to be robots why new thing is popular.

Get fucked.

zeldarekt.gif - 498x274, 961.71K

it’s times like this where in all honesty I’m glad Anon Babble is rapidly bottoming out in average users, if retards and actual bots are going to desperately advertise their shillware then they deserve a site that’s lost most of its organic userbase anyway

...I didn't even think about that. Jesus fucking Christ.

Squidward.gif - 325x244, 94.15K

Congress just undid every single state law regulating AI. Short of a Blue Wave in 2026, we cannot rely on Congress to not act in collusion with the Tech Bros.

Why should the government side with you losers? Because you're homeless and lost art commissions?
LOL.

Huh, really?

Can you still call it AI when it's the result of them paying a shitton of Thirdies to endlessly generate and rate vids to fix their weights?

and in this utopia, porn companies will build and own nuclear reactors to power the server banks used to generate the content filling the spank banks
