Currently watching this show with friends, the 9/11 episode and L and J flirting while a child is nearly killed is hardest we laughed so far. Also I felt bad for the head thingy alien that just wanted to hug the diplomat, he seemed like a swell alien and I thought he was neat.

By the time i watched the second movie i already forgot (no pun intended) J was a cop, so that part where other cops recognized him while he was fighting an alien on the roof was nice (Even if it does not make any fucking sense after 1)
Also Alpha was fucking great. Real shame the cartoon was completely ignored by the movie team because he could have made a really great villain.

Where's the DBS fan?

SCREEEEEEEEE

What?

Anyone have a mega of the show?

This and the 98 Godzilla show were kino and i won't listen to the slander for either of them.

I love the idea of an MIB agent "going native" and becoming an evil alien themselves. Even better that it's Zed's own predecessor as head of the organization. Alpha was very cool.

Yeah just finished watching myself and really J is something else. Poor guy, also reminds me of that one that has the empath powers but tries to use it on the humans and seems to go a bit crazy
Yeah alpha is a fave of mine and one I remember the most. He's like my core memory of this show him and his creepy alien upgrading bs.

I wonder if they will ever revive the original premise of the comics. It featured other supernatural stuff besides aliens.

MIB comic was barely known, especially after the movies took all fame.
It could be a cool new idea, but people will then complain about supernaturals being "retarded and not fitting" because everyone down to the most avid MIB comic reader will associate MIB with the movies
Also i doubt the franchise will ever get anything after the shitshow that was international.

Check the studio's portfolio

These fuckers were the ones who animated Spectacular spider man

Holy fuck, i can now clearly see it in the SSM artstyle. No shit i liked how that show looked.

That one blue alien woman in the bar in the Dog Eat Dog Syndrome...UNF.

Radial tire go bebop...

thank you

J gets bullied so much in the show but it's also warranted. Funny enough him being a cop but also being a shoot the aliens first type was something a friend picked up on...which is a bit odd since the film had that scene of him thinking long and hard before he shot Tiffany

Got a picture?

The perfect art style for an animated Animorphs show.

Having Alpha as the big bad of the second movie would had been better than Lara Flynn Boyle and the shit Will Smith shoved since that closeted faggot hated the Cartoon

Yeah probably just to make the dynamic work, basically need the new kid and everyman. But really, he definitely did do it on and off, but mostly to make sure you don't have two super-competent people.

THEY LOOK DIFFERENT FROM ME *BANG BANG*

I liked that "Tiffany" was an antagonist in the show too, and the same roach as Edgar.
This show has some really nice callbacks, even if the characters are completely different.

Oh yeah it does work well for the show and honestly MIB TAS is essentially an alternate continuity since L and K are still in the group....also yeah Alpha would've been good as a villain for 2's film. I still overall like 3 so wouldn't change much but also now I'm thinking how the show would've done Boris the Animal...probably would've actually got Tim Curry to voice him lol.

Having a smaller alien piloting an Arquillian robot piloting a human made me laugh so hard. Also all the additional bug characters over the show was great and especially since they actually gave them variety in design with only Edwin resembling Edgar's bug form. Honestly them all being voiced by Vincent D'Onofrio is also brilliant.

This was my favorite episode giving the fact they brought them as a reference from the first movie. I kinda wished that they were the main antagonist in the series tho.

Honestly I'm surprised they never did this plotline for a sequel of the bugs wanting revenge for Edgar's death and then losing out on something that would've lifted their race from a great starvation. Also yeah they would've worked great as main villains though Alpha does the job great and hoping to catch up on the show more once friends can hop back in. Since started it with them it'd feel rude to keep watching without them.

Glowniggers: the show

As a LatinAmerican Anon, the best part is that K, J, and L dub actors from the movie all returned for the series' dub, which meant the transition from movie to series went very smoothly for us.
Actually, the same thing happened with Godzilla the Series, funny enough.

I only know of this cartoon because of Axel Rosered

If MIB came out today, it would not do well at all.

What was the episode where J, K, and L got superpowers? I vividly remember K getting turned into this stone juggernaut.

If they did it now, they'd probably make the Men in Black more overtly villainous to be honest with unsubtle real world parallels

"The Supermen in Black Syndrome"

episode where J and K go to Hollywood

turns out a lot of aliens work in Hollywood

they play themselves, either in horror movies or comedies

the worms tag along and ride in a robosuit that looks like a producer

inadvertently reveal MIB's existence trying to pitch ideas to a studio exec

Men In Black movie gets made in-universe

it's revealed that Hollywood has revealed alien shit more than once over the years

so Los Angeles has been repeatedly hit with city-wide neuralizings

this is why they make the same movies over and over

This fucking show, man. It was great.
